The staff at Reception were all excellent, helpful and informative. The Staff in the Restaurant at Breakfast were generally helpful. The Room Stewards were efficient. The Location was superb, close to many good restaurants and to the sandy beach, The Porters were mostly helpful, apart from one incident where a porter dropped one of our bags breaking a glass bottle, spilling the contents and leaving broken glass in our clothing. The one negative was the parking. Your website states free parking is available. This isn't totally true. It should state "Limited free parking may be available" I believe that there is dedicated off-street for about 12 vehicles (although I don't know if there is a charge for this). The capacity of the hotel is 47 rooms and most guests will come by car. Otherwise, free parking may be available on the streets, but we are competing with all other demands and often nothing is available at all. I understand there is a plan to build more rooms on the existing off-street car-park, which can only aggravate the situation.. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to future guests.

Lovely hotel right by the beach. The staff were excellent. Room was a little on the small side. I was disappointed to learn that we should have pre booked their parking garage for our classic car so we had to park her on a side street as they were full. The area is safe though so all was well. We didn’t eat at the hotel but did have a drink in the bar which was very cosy. Loved Dinard as a destination.

Gem of a hotel
Lovely hotel in the heart of Dinard . Our room was pretty and the beds ( we had the twin beds ) amazing ! The staff was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel :)

Perfect hotel
Perfect location, nice building well kept, stylish. Remember to book parking if you want to use theirs, but there are also alternatives not too far away.

Beautiful hotel in great location
Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Dinard. We had a ground floor room with a small terrace. Even though the terrace looked onto the street, we had privacy. There is no parking on site but we found free parking on the street about 100-200m away. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

Best location in Dinard
The ultimate Dinard location - parking needs to be pre-arranged but is right next door. Front desk staff were most helpful, bar / breakfast staff a little stretched at busy times. Rooms are small, but comfortable and well appointed.

Pros Lovely location and nicely appointed property One lovely receptionist - going above and beyond. Young girl. Super helpful. Clarins products in bathroom lovely Cons Wifi was terrible and inconsistent Bed so uncomfortable that it has caused a back ache that 2 nights later am still suffering Front desk staff (with the exception of one - see Pros) consistently gruff and off hand and on one occasion very patronising. Safe in room not working despite letting front desk know. Batteries needed replacing No mini bar or fridge in room No hospitality tray/tea & coffee making facilities in room Breakfast overpriced for what was on offer - so we went out instead daily No restaurant or café facilities in hotel Raining and no hotel umbrellas to be borrowed

The only comment I have is related to the reaction of the reception assistant when noticing we have booked through Hotels.com - it is fairly unpleasant to be told that they prefer you don't use hotels.com given that the hotel appears on the website. Also the various benefits given via guidebooks are not applicable because of this - again something that was not mentioned anywhere.

A business trip to Dinard in January, so very quiet....Hotel Emeraude was obviously put together by very professional people who love the property...this feeling is continued by the staff...from front desk to the bar staff, everyone was really caring and attentive...

Rooms are nicely decorated but tiny, we could barely fit our luggages that were far from oversized. Breakfast was nice and service was impeccable. This hotel is well located in Dinard. Parking and check in process were probably below what you would expect from an hotel of this category.

Great week end!
So lucky to have such a great weather to dicover this resort! The hotel is located in the centre, has been redecorated in 2008 and up to a great standard.I recommand it for sure. Staff impeccable and very helpful. If you leave your car in their parking ( a bit expensive 17€/night), you have the surprise to find a nice note inside with some sweets...

Great all round hotel
The hotel is really comfortable, in a perfect spot in the middle of town but still quiet and the staff were just the friendliest I have ever come across. Breakfast was a buffet and all the food was really good quality and fresh. There is no restaurant in the hotel but several really good ones just a short walk away. The only thing to watch out for is that there is a notice behind the bedroom door saying that there is a charge for wifi when, in fact, it is free.

A happy find!
The welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly. The staff encouraged us to ask for their help. Every time we did so we were delighted with their helpfulness. They recommended very good reasonably priced restaurants, for instance. Our room was decorated in a colonial Indian style. This brings us to our only small complaint: The atmospheric lighting was not appropriate to reading. We were in Dinard for their Festival of British films for the thirteenth time, but this was our first time at the Hotel Royal Emeraude. It is ideally situated for the Festival venues. It will be out hotel of choice from now on.

Very relaxing break. Hotel was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and location perfect. The only negatives about the hotel were the rooms were very dark, even with the lamps on. A central light would have helped. Also tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been useful.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Spoke good English. The location was really good for restaurants, walks and right opposite the beach. The room was decorated very stylishly and the bed was very comfortable. I would only have two small problems to mention and that is the room was quite dark and would have been better with a brighter light as they only provided three small bedside lights. There is only one English spoken TV channel and that was BBC World News. The car parking was expensive a night plus taxes which are high. We would definately choose to stay there again. Loved Dinard for variety and location to get about.
