Happy enough with the room, it was clean, modern/quirky and the bed was very comfy. However the shower had been broken (well the top plastic part that held the pole) and it'd just been shoved back in, so whilst I was in the shower it dropped on my head...less than ideal, especially as I then had to proceed to hold the shower head whilst having to wash my hair with one hand, but I survived. I pointed it out to the gentleman who dealt with my check out (a nice friendly guy, staff seemed lovely) I would've forgiven them for that because I am guessing they probably didn't know about it, I could've chosen to shove it back not mention it and let it happen to the next guest after all so I imagine that is what happened to me.
The really bad bit is the fact that they've charged me twice for the room!
I paid when I checked out (which I did query as I knew they had my card details but I remembered selecting to pay at the property so thought no more of it) and three days later it turns out they decided to take it again. I am just so glad I checked my credit card statement thoroughly else I would've been none the wiser but £95 out of pocket.
Now I just have to hope they answer the phone soon as it just keeps ringing out which is a concern.
