Excellent hotel at the river front
Excellent hotel located at the riverfront in central Silkeborg. The room was ready upon arrival at 12:30 even that check-in time was 14:00. Great reception service. Fantastic room (junior suite) with river view. Bedroom, living, room, bathroom and separate toilet. Delicious breakfast. No power outlets at the bedside, so bring your own cables to connect phone chargers.

jeg sov ikke overhovedet, det var et virkelig hårdt ophold. jeg har brug for en dobbelt seng eller en 1,5 seng. jeg kan ikke sove i en single seng der står midt i rummet og så med bitte små puder. det føles som at ligge på en båre. hvis der endelig skal være en single seng så må den stå i et hjørne så man kan putte sig. Derudover er det ikke fedt at betale for parkering når man allerede betaler en pæn pris for en single lav seng midt i et rum. det var ikke det bedste ophold

Hvis ikke du er tilfreds med værelset, er du altid mere end velkommen til at henvende dig i receptionen, så vi kan finde et andet værelse til dig, og hjælpe med at gøre dit ophold bedre. Det er også muligt at parkere gratis i Smedebakkens parkeringshus, som ligger lige bag hotellet. Her skal man registrere sig på en tablet i receptionen. Excellent, except dinner
Lovely location by the riverside and close to the central lakes. No fuss hotel. Early morning noise from dumpsters and delivery vehicles if your room is on the rear side - though closing the window did stop the noise. Breakfast was fine, fresh and a good selection. Excellent coffee. Dinner service was bad, we gave up after waiting 15 minutes for a glass of champagne, only to be served some tepid stale wine. There are plenty of other restaurants in the same complex. Bones was great and you can feed fries to the fish, if you get a table by the riverside.

Great hotel
Radisson Blu Papirfabrikken is a nice hotel and a very reasonable rate. It is centrally located in Silkeborg and can be used for both business and leisure

The location is great and the rooms are well designed. However, the staff were extremely rude and the service level falls well below that of the Radisson group.

was missing power outlets by the bed so had to have a couple of extension cords from the reception. They were very helpful so wasnt an issue just weird that a new hotel doesnt have outlets close to the bed.

All was good...once we got to the property. The directions from our GPS put us in the parking lot of a supermarket. Once we got that figured out, our stay was great.

Not as high a standard, comfort level as expected
Being in a Radisson Blue hotel, I would have expected a higher standard, comfort level. The bathroom was renovated and the room seem newly refurfished, but not to a standard which you would typically find with Radisson. The floor in my room cracked very loud when walking around the room. Staff was very service minded. Breakfast was average.

Overview of my stay
Poor service at front desk, you need to wait for help usually, one of Addison I left because it was too long. No parking available at Hotel. Do not change bedding daily. Extremely simplicistic rooms and lots of stains on carpet. Extremely light floors, everything can be heard from surroundings when someone moves. The plus and only reason to stay is the location to the town.

Dear guest With great regret we read your review. We want to give our guests the best service possible. Very sorry front desk did not meet your expectations. In the area Papirfabrikken there are more than 250 parking spaces within less than 1 minute walk from the hotel. Considering the central location, this is quite a lot of parking spaces. Because we want to be environmentally conscious the bedding is changed every third day. If you want daily bedding - just order it at front desk. Our building is an old paper mill. It is a protected building with all its charm. Again very sorry that it did not meet your expectations. Carpets are currently being changed in the hotel. Best wishes Radisson Blu Hotel Silkeborg

Nice place in good location
Nice hotel in pretty location. Hard to find due to poor signage and markings. Comfortable room but not a lot of amenities. Great location next to lots of decent restaurants.

Ligger dejligt
havde bestilt et familieværelse, hvor der på billederne er sofa, og på henvendelse til receptionen påstod de, at det var et familieværelse, hvor der kunne komme opredninger ind, det kunne jeg dog ikke få plads til. der var gammel læbestift rester på glassene i rummet :-(
