Hôtel correct pour le prix. Malgré les affichages invitant à conserver nos serviettes par soucis environnemental et malgré l’affichette ne pas déranger car le service de ménage n’était pas requis, on a changé nos serviettes et oublié d’en remettre le même nombre. Insonorisation des chambres qui laisse à désirer, le savoir vivre des autres clients n’est pas du ressort de l’hôtel malgré qu’une sensibilisation pourrait être faite.

Bang average
Room was nothing like the photos. Only 1 power socket in the room. No key for the safe. Very noisy in the mornings with slamming doors and maids etc. At best the hotel was average

For a hostal it's not bad but I will say there are other places to stay that are in the same price range that have more amenities (wifi, ac, mini fridge, elevator, etc) and are closer to all the restaurants/bars/etc. It gets pretty hot and humid in the rooms even at night and after staying at other properties I would say it's worth it to find another place.

Excellent hostel
excellent hostel with friendly staff, rooms are basic but are clean, have a bath with shower and hot water. Also has parking which is always a bonus.

Hotel is a hostle
Nice hotel if you don’t plan to get much sleep. Not quite the same as the pictures, no tv, no air con, apparently you can pay extra at reception but we saw nothing for air con facilities. Very noisy all though the night, had to keep the balcony door open due to the heat but then didn’t get much sleep because of the noise “catch 22” bed wasn’t comfortable at all although my friend thought hers was ok. Close to beach about 5 min walk. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel in San Antonio Bay. The hotel is reasonable close to the Bay and the main area of San Antonio and El Arenal beach. It has got a nice swimming pool and a bar with friendly staff. Perhaps the only disappointing bit of the hotel is that it has not got lifts and the free wifi is only available in the reception area; wifi access from the rooms was an extra charge, as was the safe.

Nice and clean hotel. Location is great few min work to the beach. The bed is not comfortable for two expecially for couples who like sleeping close to each other. I think they have to put don not disturb tag in all the rooms so the cleaners know when to com in or not because the the lady in charge of the cleaners is really annoying. But it’s a perfect place to stay for friends or alone but won’t recommend it for couples.

Good location. Good value.
Great spot, only 400ft from Ocean Beach. Easy walk to West End/Sunset Strip/Taxi Rank. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when I had an emergency. Good prices too, room had air conditioning (which is very handy). Would stay here again for sure.

Lovely hotel not really a hostel.
Lovely staff especially Vincent and Maria and the cleaners. Slightly off the main road so quieter. Why they call it a hostel I don't know. I was expecting the worst. Lovely surprise.

Welcomed at reception by David who was very friendly and helpful. The man on reception on check out was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I was unhappy with was the music played at the Pool area FAR TOO LOUD AND VERY ANNOYING. Sometimes went off intermittently then back on.

Good value for money
It's a good value for money choice; upon arrival, my 2 rooms were upgraded to a triple at no extra cost. The room we stayed in looked reasonably modern, so we're hoping all rooms are like that. Air-conditioning works wonders, however a €5 deposit is needed initially for the remote. Everyone was really friendly and provided quick service. Would defo stay again. Only negative is that the cafe area near the pool is not of the best quality - provided uncooked food at times. And it is a 15min walk away from the beach front however this should be expected. The sofa in the reception area needs to be cleaned regularly. The only bites I got from the duration of my whole trip were due to sitting on their for an hour or so.

Great place to stay, spoiled by the hidden costs
WARNING!! We were charged €15 per night extra on arrival for aircon, there was no mention of this on the booking synopsis anywhere so we were not expecting it. They didn't care and said pay it or go without. This aside, it's a great place. It's location just off the main road means it's quiet and the walls between the rooms are thick, meaning you'll not be disturbed at night. The rooms are comfy although their idea of a double bed is 2 singles pushed together. The pool is nice, bar reasonable and staff friendly enough. It's a 30 min walk in to the West End and 10 min from the beach and chillout bars, making the location great if you don't want to party quite all night!

Loved it !
Nice location, very clean, perfect for short stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming.. The Pool was so much better than I thought I would be. (Wish the room come with tv, but I guess thats asking to much for a Hostel) Perfect for a long weekend.

Ok but wouldn't stay here again.
Hotel was ok, very basic. No aircon, very slow wifi. Beds uncomfortable. Nothing in the rooms. Balcony door did not lock - asked someone to come fix it 3 times but no one did, asked to move rooms but they didn't say anything just kept saying someone will fix it. Extremely noisy at night time between 3am to 6am can hear everything upstairs, downstairs, in the corridors.

Great 5 night stay at hostal anibal. Brilliant location. Friendly staff, spacious rooms. Bar food and drinks reasonably priced. The only complaint is that there wasn't a fridge and during the hot summer season air conditioning or a fan should really come as standard.

Horrible!!!
El año pasado estuvimos y nos gustó tanto que éste año decidimos repetir y ha sido horrible, no entiendo cómo puede haber cambiado a tan mal en un año. La taza del váter estaba rajada , hemos tenido que mear como si estuviésemos en un bar toda la semana porque no han sido capaces de cambiarla aunque lo hemos dicho varias veces, te hacen la cama pero limpieza 0, el baño tenía manchas asquerosas y olía fatal y ni lo han limpiado ni cambiado toallas, la tele no se veía , la lamparita de la mesilla no funcionaba... Pero lo peor ha sido la piscina que normalmente es un sitio para relajarte pues aquí no, dejan entrar a todo el mundo aunque no estén alojados y gratis!!! Así pasaba que había 300 personas todo el día. Hay una dejadez por parte de todo el mundo increíble, no volvemos ni lo recomendamos.

Rsponsable sympa mais hôtel en cours de réfection
Apres avoir constaté que la chambre réservée ne correspondait pas à la photo (vieux, pas de tv, pas de cintre, une seule prise de courant dans la chambre...), je suis allée voir le responsable qui nous a proposé sans contrepartie une chambre en accord avec la photo. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel est en cours de réfection complète.
