Location of the hotel excellent, overall not to bad, but no hot water in hotel one day had to have cold showers, hotel staff showed little empathy! Bathroom drains smell awful and bath needed replacing. Room itself pleasant big and spacious. Hotel starting to look s little tired in places, it shows current Greek economy having an effect! Love Rhodes but investment now needed, come Greece sort yourselves out or you will lose your tourism industry too!

The hotel is lovely, the pool area is great and the staff are mostly really friendly. It's a good base from which to explore Rhodes and the all inclusive whilst a little restrictive in choice is good quality for both food and drinks.

We stayed for one night prior to departing on an early morning flight. Our room was a one bedroom suite for a family of five. The room was very nice, clean, very comfortable, and had a great ocean view. Outdoor pool area was nice as was the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs in both locations. We would highly recommend this hotel for a short term stay but not sure that I would want to stay for more than a week.

We stayed in a family room for five and were very pleased. Two bedrooms with a large common area and kitchenette. Best parts were beach, views and pool bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. Short drive to Old Town and restaurants close. Some problems with hot water one day and could have faster free wi-fi, but they were minor issues. I will stay at Area Blue again when we return to Rhodos.
Almost merging with neighboring Ixia, Ialysus lies on the north coast, 6 km from the airport, and 8 km from Rhodes Town. The narrow, pebbled Ialyssos Beach affords views of Turkey across the water. The town takes its name from Ancient Ialysus, 5 km inland and home to a 4th-century BC temple and a peaceful monastery, well worth a visit.
