"Great location, good facilities, but noisy nights!"
Fantastic setting with lovely outdoor pools.
Beautiful views and kind, friendly staff.
Dinner was good, but buffet breakfast a bit disappointing - some fruit was old, the waffles tasted odd and a yogurt was 'off'
Room was compact but comfortable, but corridors were noisy - and Bohemian Rhapsody at 3am echoing down them was an unwelcome 'extra'!

Perfect if you are happy to pay the price. Great for couples. Not the best for families as the pool area needs to be quiet as it is a spa. Staff are brilliant. Very nice and helpful. Very clean. Great for couples of all ages. Very little walking needed to gain access to Hvar centre.
We booked the Junior Suite and it was perfect for our family of 5. It has two floors with two spacious bedrooms and a sitting room with a pull out bed. It was perfectly located right in the heart of Hvar. The staff was wonderful and very helpful! A delicious breakfast was included with the room. My 3 teenage boys say the omelets are the best they have ever had any where in the world!

There is a small reception area downstairs but this hotel is a bed & breakfast type. Located right on the water overlooking the marina.
The rooms was beautiful. There was a living room area with sitting areas, large windows that faced out the marina. The bedroom was a good size and very clean. Comfortable bed and the temperature controlled room with air-conditioning that worked great. The bathroom was pretty large, clean and modern.
We really loved the decor of the entire hotel. Plus the staff was really amazing!!
For breakfast we went downstairs to the hotels cafe where we received a complimentary delicious breakfast. We had eggs, croissants and cappuccinos.
Entering the hotel everything seems big, clean bright & modern, so after this the room we had was a little disappointing - small, dark & a bit shabby. But we were only staying one night & the room rate was reasonable so not too upset.
The positives are
The location overlooking Hvar harbour.
The breakfast - amazing value for the money, with tables looking out across Hvar.
You can use the sister hotels facilities, which look nice but we didn't have time.
The dark rooms. We had a room at the back when we opened the windows the smell from the kitchens came into the room so we had to keep the windows shut. Rooms at the front would be better. But we only stayed one night so this wasn't a problem.
It would be a mistake to judge this hotel against the usual US, Australian or British standard. Sure there were things it lacked like a pool or gym or tea and coffee making facilities, but it got all the basics right and it had one overwhelming advantage in the staff. They were genuinely helpful and knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Over our stay we got to know some of them quite well and the stay began to feel more like a home stay than a hotel experience. You won't get that at your typical "big" hotel. The "breakfast girl" (sorry I can't remember her name) was a joy, and Sanja and the front office crew were uniformly excellent.
We arrived on a late ferry from Split. It was hard to navigate at 10:30 in the evening. I had hoped there was a transfer at the dock waiting however there was no van pick up. We took a taxi that charges100 kuna. We enjoyed our visit and the hotel arranged for our transfer back to the ferry with no problems. If you arrive late, be prepared for no transportation.
This 68-kilometre long island lies a two-hour ferry ride from the mainland port of Split. Very popular with the yachting crowd, it’s known for its lavender fields, vineyards and old Venetian-style stone buildings. Hvar Town is home to a 16th-century cathedral, a hilltop castle, and a marble paved piazza ringed with trendy cocktail bars and seafood eateries. Several of the nearby Pakleni Islets (accessible by taxi-boat) are devoted to nudism.
