Lovely hotel outside of Hvar!
Lovely hotel. We had a balcony room over looking the water, which was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the location, beachfront, and the breakfast was great.

Lovely stay at Fortuna. Very friendly and helpful staff always around to help and assist. Can’t fault this hotel at all, tried to think of a negative but can’t. Would love to come back.

The hotel was located right next ti beach, quite a few restaurants about and quite close to Hvar town which the hotel provided shuttle service to at a very reasonable price

Perfect beach vacation!
Wow, were we impressed and very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect in Milna away from the hubub of Hvar town, situated on a beautiful beach where you can easily swim and also enjoy the view of the mountains behind it. The staff are delightful - eager to help, friendly, knowledgeable. The room with the sea view is totally worth the extra money. The room was spotless, super modern, and had all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with tons of variety, and the hotel restaurant (with the most beautiful setting right next to the beach) is AMAZING for lunch and dinner. The pool area is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and you can also rent them down on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax, be pampered, and enjoy a quiet beach vacation.

If you are looking for a laid back, no stress place to stay - this is it. Great service, well maintained , clean with excellent food & drinks served right by the beach. The staff are super friendly and down to earth. Great location on the island - short drive to Hvar.

Familiar hotel far from Hvar
I read a lot of great reviews, so my expectations were high. However, I didn’t find the friendly environment others described. I would say it is a family hotel, not 4 stars, far from Hvar. The beach in front is nice, and you can pay an extra fee to have sub beds. If your intention is to be in a quite place, with an “ok” service, book this. But do not expect a 4 starts hotel, so you won’t be disappointed as I was.

This is the closest hotel to the beach but they do not rest on this fact alone. The family who owns & runs it are all absolutely lovely. Customer service is top notch. The breakfast and pool is great. No complaints here. And so nice to be somewhere calmer than Hvar proper but yet really close drive to it should you wish to visit.

Great family operated hotel. 12 rooms right on a pebble beach with swimming steps away from front door. Friendly family who are ready to help answer any questions you have. Free and convenient onsite parking if you have a car.

Superb Boutique Hotel
Outstanding boutique hotel located virtually on the beach!! Superb modern rooms, plentiful breakfast and a very good lunch and evening menu, but there are also many good restaurants immediately nearby.

We loved it here, off the beaten track, laid back, a hand full of restaurants. Hotel Fortuna was perfect, view from our room was amazing.

Amazing place to stay
Amazing family run hotel. From the view to food to service and location it was all perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see Hvar. Snorkeling, swimming, paddleboarding or boat transfer is right outside your door. We had a balcony view, absolutely loved it!!

Hotel Fortuna was a great hotel that I was glad to have booked. As its a family run business, everything is well kept, smooth system and service was so friendly. Thank you so much to all family members there for being great. Lovely touches such as water, chocolate and a small letter was even presented on our arrival. Clean apartment, elevator present, amazing breakfast with so many choices, restaurant and bar and beach just in front of the hotel, what more can you ask for. I'm glad that we booked a hotel in Milna which is a lovely lovely place, and they have transportation service as well which is free for the first pick up and last drop off. I would totally recommend this place and would definitely book again!

Excellent hotel in quiet beach getaway town
Great place to stay.paid extra for a sea view room which we felt was well worth it with a super view of the bay. Service was top notch with anytime car service to hvar available for a good price. Breakfast is very nice and has everything you need. Restaurant and bar are good also. Family and staff are always friendly and helpful with anything you need. If you are looking for a quiet area with a nice beach and easy access to busier hvar main town then this is the place to stay.

Amazing little place
What a great place, approx 7 min from the center of Hvar. At first I thought it would be an issue being out of the center but it was not a problem at all. The owners were always available to drive us in to town when needed. Being Milna is a small town I was happy to find out there were several amazing restaurants within walking distance to where we were staying ( the restaurant in the property included). The beach is just outside the door. I would highly recommend staying here you will love it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fortuna - Milna is the most adorable little town with a picturesque beach and so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hvar old-town. Our room had a beautiful view of the beach. Marino & his entire family are so hospitable and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious. also, if you are looking for transportation to-from old-town, the hotel were take you for just 50 kuna (while taxi drivers will charge 100-150 for the same trip)...You should call the hotel before you arrive on Hvar and ask them to pick you up at the port...They also offer a complimentary ride to port when you leave Hvar. All around amazing

Family owned and operated. Great location in small town with picturesque cove and beach, but only 10 minute hotel shuttle to downtown Hvar. Wonderful friendly staff.

What an amazing experience!! Such a beautiful hotel by a beautiful beach with the most wonderful family running it. It was also very accessible to Hvar town via their hotel shuttles driven by George and his son Marino. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Fortuna.

Great hotel
Amazing find! The hotel was great and we loved our balcony with a sea view. The area was quiet and relaxing. The hotel has a shuttle if you want to go into Hvar town, which we used one night and was very easy.

This was our favourite hotel of our trip. Right on the beach and very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. The staff were so friendly and gave us really good restaurant recommendations, helped us hire a boat and 4-wheeler. We couldn't recommend them high enough.

Hotel Fortuna is a beautiful family run hotel on the beach in Milna. We are a family of four with two children 8 and 11. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful with all requests including any information, transfers to the town of Hvar, Stari Grad and other pick ups and drop offs to various places of interest at very reasonable rates. They gave us a beautiful bottle of their own wine on both arrival and departure. Our children had great chats with the family and staff and said it was their best holiday ever. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Perfect Place
Hotel Fortuna is excellent! The Tudor family runs this wonderful hotel and they are incredibly accommodating and kind. All the rooms are clean, the views are great, and it is a nice place to stay away, just a mile or so from the main city. With a small private beach right there are great restaurants on one road, this is a gem! They offer reasonably priced transportation services into Hvar, and beach towels to use each day on the Milna beach. Food at their hotel is excellent, and breakfast is fantastic. We loved our stay and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything was excellent at this hotel. Check in, staff, location, clean/comfortable rooms and food. Family run place. Had a hand written note and a chocolate bar in our room which was a nice touch. Right on the beach. About 12 minute drive from the ferry and about the same from Hvar. Highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is really great, as soon as we arrived (almost 11 pm) a friendly staff member greeted us and did our check in right away. Also because they had extra space in the hotel she ended up giving us 2 upgrades (staying in the main building instead of the annex building along with an ocean view). The room was also very clean and it looked new. The breakfast had everything you needed (my daughter is vegetarian and I'm a meet lover). The check out was quick as well. Highly recommended

The hotel is in a beautiful location a sea view room is a must. The family running the hotel are excellent and really added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the quiet Cove for which this property is situated it was nice to get away from the typical touristy town. The breakfast was exceptional and the people that served us with very pleasant. We are also thankful for the upgrade to providing us at ocean view roon. Thank you for your hospitality.

This place was great small hotel with an amazing restaurant just off the beaten path about 5 minutes from hvar. The cove and surrounding town of milna is small but just what we like!
