"Advised the hotel we would arrive late, when we got there we were advised our rooms had been on-sold. NO pool even though it is advertised as having one! NOT close to the beach/sea even though advertised as being so. No English speaking staff on duty, even though advertised as being so. Filthy rooms. "Going by motorcycle from Ninh Binh to Phong Nha, one can make a stop halway and use this hotel as your stop. The owner is extremely friendly, inviting me for both dinner and breakfast, and driving me around. A real personal touch. The place itself is functional, let's say, worth the price Vietnam style. Nevertheless, I had a cultural stayover! "

"It's a beautiful property in the middle of tea farmland. Very peaceful and quiet except for the rooster(s) before dawn. I had a private room with a dedicated bathroom. It was very comfortable. On the menu for dinner was traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Very delicious. Recommended."
