We were denied our paid service of all inclusive because of our nationality. If you dont want to suffer from fanatism, stereotyping and racism, stay away from this hotel.

initial thoughts when we arrived were the good. And greeted pleasantly. But it’s not a 4 star it’s more a 3 star hotel. Tired rooms in desperate need of refurbishment. inclusive option is not great either food is edible but that’s about it. We did eat outside the hotel the time we were there. We felt we had to leave the room by 12 Noon as the bell boy insisted he take our luggage and after 12 noon we would be charged for overstaying our welcome. won’t be going back unfortunately.

More 3 than 4 star. Nice enough and friendly staff. very safe and comfortable. But Food and facilities really not that great; they try hard but just not that much that kids like for food. Still had a lovely time.

It's a great and beautiful hotel, unfortunately the transfer service is not the best not really organized. We almost missed the plane because of this. But generally the hotel and staff was great (except on the reception)

We were unhappy with Reef, but all other options were very satisfying. If you are a big fan of snorkeling - I suggest searching for another hotel. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the pool or on a calm beach - this is for you.

Unbeatable price- excellent hotel
Excellent service 20/10- Sara on reception was the most attentive worker we have ever come across always making sure she/ the hotel was meeting our needs. We watched their exemplary care for a lady in a wheel chair and gave praise via feedback to reception about a brilliant bar man Moustafa on the pool bar who came to thank us for our kind words.

This was my second visit. Its a beautiful property and it would be 5 stars in my book if it had smart tvs and wifi in the rooms. Really annoyed about the wifi...and the wifi in the reception wasnt all that great either. The in room phones are also a bit ancient. View cant be beat though

This resort was beautiful and right on the Red Sea! The food options were great, and the chefs were always willing to take special requests for food. Pools were nice, rooms were very clean, and staff was incredibly helpful. Drinks were also very well made. One thing to note is wifi is only available in the main lobby area.

This Resort is amazing! The staff are friendly and very helpful and respectful. We've really enjoyed our vacation in the hotel. Starting from the moment we've arrived to the hotel, the service desk were very friendly and finished the paperwork in fees seconds, moving to the outstanding active housekeeping staff they are on top of cleaning every corner of the resort (rooms, pool, garden, and the beach). The food is great we've enjoyed different kids of food menus Mediterranean, Italian, and oriental, taste good and fresh. The animation team were amazing. Overall the resort is quiet, amazing and family and kids friendly. Thank you Mercure Hurghada Team. I will definitely come back again! Keep up the great work

The best vacation ever. Mercure staff always go above and beyond to make sure we are happy in our stay. The beach, the sea, the heated pool and the corals were amazing. Rooms are clean and the entire place is lovely. On the downside, the food is below average in terms of the taste and quality and the pool bar drinks and food are not good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would defenitly come back.

Description of all inclusive plan and ultra inclus
It was my first time visiting Mercure hotels Hurghada I booked through Expedia hotels.com For my vacation which started in 17 July and ended at 23 July 2021. My reservation number through hotels 9188826272184 for all inclusive plan. This reservation costed me almost 700 $ . I checked in and was shocked with few matters that hotel management messed them up. First my reservation was through Hotels.com and nothing mentioned about ultra inclusive plan and all what considered my right within the all inclusive plan are transfered to the ultra inclusive, water bottles, fresh juice and beer cans . Some items also are missed in the open buffee like seasonal fruits example watermelon, kiwi, Guava, pear ; only orange, cantaloupe & date no diversification of food type manipulation in hospitality policies by applying cutting cost policy and reduce the benefits from the major plan of all inclusive to add them to another created plan ultra inclusive ( then I have to pay for the items which are missed in the restaurant like watermelon good quality of juices or juice without sugar added as am not allowed by Dr instructions to drink juice with sugar add) which not mentioned in hotels policies . Am a type of customer who is travelling a lot and have pretty much ideas about hotels services. If we are dealing with Mercure hotel Hurghada as a part of economy chain and they can't offer generously and serve the high level class customer then they should get rewarded by equivalent money amount.

Music too loud. Asked manager to change room, he laughed. AC did't work, even after it was supposed to be repaired. Constant badgering from employees about massages. I was looking for peace and quiet....didn't find it. Can't recommend, especially for a solo traveler.

The Mecurial Mecure
The room, grounds, pools and beach are excellent.The food seems brown and unimaginative - but that’s the same with a lot of hotels in Hurghada. What really upsets me is that, as good as it is I don’t think it’s particularly good value for money. That is all.

A big resort with very good all inclusive rates.
It was a big resort with many facilities. I liked the private beach most. All inclusive deal means you can have unlimited drinks including beer and wine. It was a very good experience to me. Will return again. The distance from the airport was good. The price was very reasonable. They have many activities during day time with many choices and free performance at night. Also good shopping mall. Only negative is there is no wifi at rooms, maybe because too wide the area is. Overall it was beyond my expectations.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of a week long tour throughout all of Egypt. We have enjoyed our stay here. It is very clean, with well maintained facilities and the staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The buffet/food is okay - seems to cater to a largely European crowd, I think it would be better to have Egyptian food. The wine on tap is gross. It tastes like iris coming through a dirty line. I suspect you could order a bottle somehow but didn’t bother to figure that out.We did most of our activities outside of the hotel with Sinai Excursions who I highly recommend as we didn’t see much of value going on within the hotel facilities. The pools are moderately heated as Harghada is very cold (relative to other latitudes) and windy in the winter (December/January) so I really don’t see the point of making this a destination at this time of year. The hotel itself is about 5-7 km out of the centre so be prepared to pay between 150 - 300 EP depending on your negotiating skills. This is A very touristic destination removed from the Egyptian culture and maginificant history, if that is what one was looking for or as part of a more comprehensive trip I would recommend a few nights in this facility to friends and family for sure.

Great value hotel, friendly staff, good dive centre on site which was great for us. Loungers and chairs all very comfortable and in good condition, nice beach and pool areas. The food was ok, a little hit and miss but you can't really expect much more from an all inclusive deal at that price

A great getaway
A Great place with friendly staff and well appointed rooms and a fantastic place close to the sea. The only downside was that it was very popular so many visitors, which resulted in line up at mealtimes difficult finding tables, utensils etc.. food was soso.
