It took around 40mins to check in which was far too long. I was allocated the room I had booked and was only given the room upgrade when I pointed out this was part of the VIP Expedia access. The hotel and facilities were great especially the pool and beach area and the staff were very helpful and nice

We got partial ocean view (really just a sliver) rooms and half board. The rooms were large and very clean with big balconies. The resort was very clean and super well maintained. Even though they said they were at capacity it never felt busy there. The beach is pristine with tons of seating any time of the day. The staff were always there to take care of everything and were extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the house reef off the pier which was some of the best diving I have done, reef is very healthy. Only issue we ran into is the rental gear for snorkeling was poor quality. Better to rent from the dive shop at the pier. Food was great. We ate in the Asian restaurant once, a beach grill once and the rest at the main restaurant. If eating away from the main restaurant it is very easy to exceed the meal plan credit. In general though this was extremely relaxing and wonderful, it is the best of Mexican all inclusive resorts with Fiji quality beaches but way cheaper than both.

the hotel is too old and the smell in the lobby and at breakfast was annoying, also the beds in the room had a peculiar smell, there were three of us in the room and they brought an old bed for the child, in general the hotel needs a major overhaul

With pleasure, we see that you have positively enjoyed several services you mentioned that the food is excellent and our staff was friendly and we hope you have enjoyed your stay with us on the shores of the Red Sea.Regretfully, we noticed your feedback regarding payment for water, we would like to mention that The hotel does provide a 1.5 L bottle of water, Two of 0.6 Ml bottles of water in the room on a daily basis plus a 0.6 Ml bottles of water for each guest once per day at the beach/pool as free of charge, additionally the water is provided free of charge in the breakfast as well and only water is provided against the charge in the dinner buffet at the main restaurant due to half-board meal basis system. Once again, we regret that you had different expectations and that this aspect affected your holiday experience. Very exceptional resort. It is the pearl of the Red Sea. Amazing food, views and staff. If you are planning to visit Hurghada; just go to Kempinski Soma Bay. It’s unimaginable to believe that you can be literally standing at the beach and small fish visibly play around your ankle from how clear the water is. Words won’t do Justice to this resort. It’s a heaven on earth. Definitely one of the best resorts on the shoreline of Hurghada.

Very beautiful and clean property. The food buffet was very good. The staff was very kind and friendly. Very quiet and relaxing experience. I did not like that there was nothing to do at night. The souvenir and shopping area was very bad. I also did not like that the hotel tried to charge me 1800 L.E. instead of 600 L.E. for a taxi to the airport just because I am American.

Further with regret, we have read your comments regarding the offered airport transportation. This service provider is a third party, which provides limousines for all hotels in Soma Bay and the management is out of our hands. Amazing resort for couples and family, we went as a family but with talented kids club on spot my son did not want to stay with us, so u can enjoy both. The property is impeccable! All the employees were super friendly, respectful and help us with any possible necessity. The beach is a heaven, there is a coral reef super close, clear and clean water. Super nice beach service, special thank you for Alaa on the beach kiosk! Food was good with a great buffet with nice variety of foods daily. The pool restaurant also has great food. We enjoyed a lot the bars and the sunset party. Hotel has sections for family and adults only in the beach and amenities, it makes the hotel a good fit for all. The property and rooms are super well maintained, everything clean and beautiful. The room keeper took care perfectly about everything in our room, we loved it. My only regret was to not have more days in this paradise! I will definitely come back to this hotel and stay longer to enjoy it more and more.

Mary, Mona, and Helmy from the Kids Club are the Best !! My 4 years old son spent most of the time with them in the Kids Club doing many different activities. In addition, the food is very delicious with v. good service at the restaurant.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience, staff is working with passion with a very friendly attitude trying their best to make the guests enjoying their stay. Facilities are excellent, clean, always maintained. Hygiene is taken very seriously on the pool, beach, restaurant,...etc. Snorkeling spot within the hotel beach is amazing. Food is excellent, many varieties suiting all tastes

I initially booked a sea view room but the room looks too basic and the paint on the door has fallen off. I decided to pay extra to upgrade to the deluxe suite. Still I found room is not well maintained, and the sanitation does not match a five-star hotel rating. The shower area smelled like urine, and the bathtub had dry watermarks. There is a lot of dust on the lampshade and lamp holder, and there are hand prints on the glass door. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes unless you request it, which embarrass the guests who don’t have any small change ready to tip the staff coming up to the room to deliver it upon request. A simple too brush with toothpaste for 5 star hotels should be a must. The hotel uses the fascist method to force the guests to take the temperature test at the entrance of the restaurant using the same thermometer for all guests… which is helping the spread of the virus? If there is such a serious virus after all…it’s been so obviously exaggerated by the media and followed through by this particular hotel. The hotel offered the food to be delivered to my room if I choose not to get the temperature test. How ridiculous this is! May I then check the body temperature of all your staff who come into contact with me??? In addition, the hotel tried to record my credit card number even after I paid all the bill.I found it and stopped it.What was this happening? I have always liked Kempinski until I came across this hotel.

The waiters were lovely and helpful & very friendly. However I found the front desk staff very officious & snooty. The resort was extremely quiet with very limited facilities - one restaurant for breakfast & dinner & another for lunch. Breakfadt & dinner both a buffet. The room was serviced every other day ‘due to covid’ & the lack of amenities due to covid. I enquired about an excursion but informed the trip was not possible for one person (luxor) or would cost 450 euros (again very snooty & unhelpful). So I organised it myself for $175 - private taxi & english speaking guide. I think this hotel needs to get a reality check & be more genuinely hospitable. They let the waiters and pool boys down as they did a great job.

we have stayed for 6 days , 5 nights .. end of Aug 2020. it was super nice stay. we have got sea /pool view rooms. Our stay was super great . Breakfadr and dinner was somthing to remember as foid was first class qiality.. always there was a new menue each day .. We did not need to leave the hotel for the long of our stay .. as every day was super active day .. start from the Gym .. snirkling at the reef area near to the blue floating deck .. huge reef area was there... quade bugy ride safary trip .. parasailing .. banana boat .. All the safety measure for the Covid 19 were applied by the hotel.. Overall ... we were so happy fot the full 6 days of our stay ..
