Tulip time trip

Pros: Location, good breakfast.
Cons: Cleaning.
Location: Holland Michigan is a tourist town.
Stayed two nights. Door to room didn't lock, evening staff person supplied new room. beds were good, so was breakfast. There was an ottoman which had been damaged by a prior tenant.

Pros: Location, cost
Cons: The first room we were in was updated with newer fixtures, the room we were moved to was a little less updated but still nice.
Location: Grand Rapids, New Holland Brewing company, Rivertown Mall
Great service, comfortable room and beds. Everything was clean. It was in a great location, 20 minutes from Grand Rapids downtown and 20 minutes from Holland. There is a large shopping mall about 10 minutes away as well as a grocery store and many dining options. Hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had to switch rooms because of a stain on the floor that wasn't properly cleaned up yet. The next day our keys to our new room didn't work. We went to the main desk to get that sorted out and someone we hadn't seen from the staff knew about our room switch and had no issue helping us out. The cost of this hotel was great as well, completely affordable. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay! Staff was awesome...very kind, friendly. Clean. Nice, crisp linens. Comfortable mattress. Will stay here every time I travel to visit my daughter at Grand Valley State University.

Overall disappointed.

I took my boys to the hotel for a staycation with the specific purpose to swim. The pool facility room was freezing cold and never got above 70 degrees during our stay. I asked the hotel staff to turn up the heat and while she made sure all the heaters were on, it never warmed the room. The boys still swam but were disappointed I would not get out of my sweatshirt to join them. The room was adequate, but the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan presenting a problem when staying with three boys...

Need major upgrade

Hotel is falling apart, with cracks everywhere, staines on the ceiling and on carpets. Staff is nice but the building shows its age. Location is good, price as well.

The staff was a bit rude and uncaring. When i had a problem with check in, i had to wait for the manager to drive there even though her name was on the wall as being on duty. Then the employees were egnoring us while the problem was going on and the one employee thanked the manager for coming in. Isn't that her job. Why is her name up as being on duty if she isn't there. Very small room dirty bathroom-hair in the tub. I have stayed in nicer hotels for less. Would not recommend this hotel. I gave 2 stars because my phone wont let me give less.

Perfect for the money

Pros: The beds, staff, pool, breakfast and location.
Cons: Temperature in the pool room (it was a little cold). Refrigerators included in room.
Location: The location was close to our destination and had easy access to the freeways and restaurants.
The hotel had just experienced a water main break in the lobby but the staff were moving quickly to fix everything. The reception staff were very friendly and accomodating: they moved a refrigerator into our room, allowed me to use their computer and printer because the guest one was moved. The beds were very comfortable and the pool and jacuzzi were great!

The pool and hot tub up keep and overall upkeep of cleanliness has majority declined. The breakfast area was left empty, no room cleaning service attended our room, hall carpets are pretty filthy along with the carpet in the rooms. Staff is rather lazy and rude, other than the third shift gal at the front desk who accommodated us $20 when we complained about our room not being cleaned during the day and returning to a dirty room and having to come to the front desk ourselves for towels!
