"The room was clean, air-conditioned, we had a queen bed, but unfortunately, I felt that the bed was too soft, and two people kind of slid toward the middle while sleeping, which was not comfortable. Great location overall and great tavern on the 1st floor"

"The room is like a studio apartment. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything you would need to prepare your own simple meals. The bath was small but adequate. Everything was very clean. It's a unique place in a very rural environment. It is a little isolated but plentiful food and services are within a short 5 minute drive. We were on the second floor and the stairs were an effort with luggage so request first floor if that's an issue for you. We had a nice stay."
The Red Lion Inn

"This is a wonderful, historic inn. Check out the Red Lion Den for music. We heard a terrific local group. We ate in the Tavern and the food was tasty. This is not a luxurious place. It dates back to the 1700s. But it is really charming. My friends and I stayed in a suite in an out building. We had a low-ceiled living room downstairs, which was a. great place to talk and catch up. The bedroom situation was a little funky because the bathroom was right next to the bed in one of two sleeping areas upstairs and the door really squeaked when it opened and closed. But that was about our only complaint. I'd be delighted to return."
