Nice family run hotel. Not luxurious, but well appointed, constructed and finished. Bathrooms now seem much improved over several years ago. Well located. A range of breakfasts. Scrupulously clean. Friendly, if not folksy.

Great hotel in great location
Excellent. The tv broke in my room but the next day the owner went and bought a brand new tv. Staff are really helpful without being intrusive great location. I will definitely stay here again

an excellent choice
A very nice hotel the staff were friendly and helpful and the management were always on hand to help, a very nice breakfast and good choice too, the room was clean and large but i think we were upgraded to a suite, no outside noise could be heard inside the room, all in all a very good hotel in the perfect location close to all amenities, the only downfall was not having a pool although we love the beach we missed a pool because there are no sunbeds on Hua hin beach only deck chairs.

The Best
This hotel is family owned & operated. Everyone is very friendly & helpful. There are many homey touches which sets this hotel above similar priced hotels..Breakfast items are cooked to order. I especially liked the fried pork & Basel with rice & an egg. We will definitely be back when we return to Hua Hin.

What makes this place so good is the lady who manages it. I booked a room and came by to see the hotel and to find out if my room was facing the street. I found out all the standard rooms faced the street but she gave me an upgrade to a room at the back of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and I felt very welcomed so I decided to stay another 4 days.

A Good Choice In Hua Hin
I have never been to Hua Hin in all my travels to Thailand so decided to go there for a couple of days. I choose Baan Pa Ploy as my hotel there and was very pleased with it. Check in was great, the staff is very friendly and the room was great. The room actually is split up into a large bedroom area and a kind of separate living room area with a modern sofa that can be used as a bed if needed. It also had a separate covered balcony area with chairs to relax on plus a nice bathroom. The rooms on the front of the building tend to be a little noisier as this hotel is on a main street but I had no problem with it. If you want quieter request one of the two units on the back on each floor. They served a nice breakfast with toast, fruit, juice, coffee or tea plus a choice of about 14 items on a menu. I would stay there again if visiting Hua Hin.

Budget Hôtel in Hua Hin
The hotel was quiet because of its low season but in Genaral Hua Hin is quieter than its ever been. The accommodation was good and I have no complaints about it.

This is good value for money. Good location. A little dated. The king sized bed was more than firm because it was 2 twin beds pushed together with a hard foam topper making it seamless. The breakfast was consistently disappointing and never delivered as ordered whether I had Thai food or Western. On my last day the bacon seemed suspect. I only took one bite and left the rest on my plate. That one bite made me suffer for 24 hours

Disappointing
We were greater by staff who looked completely uninterested. The lights on our floor were movement sensitive which was creepy. The room itself was ok but with a little bit of TLC it could have been much better. In the morning the cleaning staff looked put out that we wanted an extra 30 minutes before they cleaned our room. To be fair the room was fairly clean but very unappealing. After one night we called it quits and moved on. After checking out the staff did not query why we were checking out early or if there was anything they could do to help us. I choose this hotel partially on the reviews of other guests and I would hope that this was just an isolated incident. However, having stayed in Hua Hin before, I believe there are better options available.

Good Family Hotel, central for everything in H-Hin
Second time we've stayed here, and room was even better than the one we liked first time around. Very positive experience, and although the hotel is a little dated, everywhere is clean, pleasant, and spacious. Also - A BIG thing for me - the plumbing is great and the showers are powerful. As previously reported most places are easily walkable from this hotel - beach, Night Market, Station, Town Centre, night-life, hundreds of restaurants, bars etc in the old Town - and also (for those who love them!) McDonalds and Burger King. Only some of the newer malls, and venues (like Vana Nava, Plearn Wan, Kai Klangwon Palace, Kao Takiab) require a short 100-200 Baht Taxi ride (haggling needed - but there's plenty of healthy competition, so not difficult to negotiate a reasonable fare). Some of the best Italian restaurants we have found in all of Thailand are in Hua Hin, and the overall selection of eateries is staggering.

Pleasant Hotel, well located in yve town centre.
Good room for the price / rating. Bathroom not quite up to the standards of the bedroom. Pleasant balcony, but no view - however that also means no noise - a bonus in central Hua Hin! Efficient staff, and friendly if not effusive. Reasonable breakfasts - especially the Thai choices. Limited building work in progress, but would not be unhappy to stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at Baan Pa Ploy, rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable (huge bed). Adequate breakfast with a dozen or so choices, staff are all pleasant and helpful. Plenty of nice restaurants in the close vacinity. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay in a good value hotel
Lovely small hotel, exceptionally clean, run by a small team of people who work hard to make your stay perfect. As we stayed in low season and the hotel was not full, we were given an upgrade, which was a lovely gesture. Breakfast is basic but more than enough to start the day. Location is great, with the beach and night market a 10 minute walk. Tea/coffee in rooms, television and wifi. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this hotel, great value for your money. Only downside was no working WiFi while I was there, but it wasn't a problem as I just tethered with data. If I'm ever in Hua Hin again I'll definitely stay here.

We have one criticism and that is the rooms keys are kept in full view and access to anyone who happens to be in reception. We think that room keys should not be on view and certainly not accessible to whoever is passing.

Convenient Budget Hotel
This hotel has a great location, only a short walk from the train station, and near the CBD. Yet it's surprisingly quiet. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and there's overall a nice relaxed atmosphere. However, my room was in need of refurbishment, and the shower might have been better. But all in all, a good value hotel in the heart of Hua Hin. I'd definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed staying here and will probably come back. The room was large with semi separate lounge. The room and hotel were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is great with most places of interest just a short walk away. Internet was good as was breakfast.
