Had a lovely stay in a Family Villa for 12 nights, which had it's own private parking. 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which was ensuite. The downstairs bedroom doesn't have a safe or a wardrobe (but there is a wall rack) All rooms had a hairdryer, shower gel & shampoo. Large shared space with dining table & chairs, seating for 4 (although not very comfortable) with TV and a large fridge. There are a few plates and bowls (we expected more), cutlery, cups & saucers and hot water dispenser, with tea & coffee provided.

Great hotel
Excellent hotel across the road from the beach. Nice clean rooms. Lovely chalets around the pool however we stayed in the hotel block about 100 metres behind. Nice clean rooms with balcony. Nice breakfast if not a great choice of dishes. Ban Krut is a lovely peaceful seaside village and long may it stay that way.

I really enjoyed this quiet 4 night break Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. Good breakfast looking out across the sea Transport to the train station can be asked for At reception and the journey is about 5 mins. The only complaint was that our accommodation was on the 4th floor. There was only a lift for heavy luggage so we had to climb the stairs Something to consider if you have mobility issues Also the resort cafe closes very early at 8 pm so it’s a long evening if you like a drink or entertainment with your friends

Nice resort with good amenities right on the beach
Cute Thai-style resort right on the beach at a lovely location. Massive pool and jacuzzi. We rented a private villa next to the pool with sea view. Very comfortable. International food was not good in the restaurant but the Thai food was excellent. Fabulous spot for a get-away. Would go again.

Resort was very quiet - most of the bars were closed Hotel closed everything at 9 pm No lift to my room on the 4th floor was disappointing

While we were in the back of the property we still had a nice stay here. The breakfast was good and the pool area was amazing. Our room was small and had no place to set out luggage or clothing. Nice balcony. Bed and linens ok. Would stay again.

The rooms were a bit small would get a bigger room if returning the pool was lovely but sun beds were all taken by breakfast time by people who left towels and then were not seen for half the day The staff were very friendly they picked us up and dropped us off at the railway station as requested

Lovely stay
Lovely resort, amazing pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Bit of a shortage of poolside sunbeds for the size of the property, however this wasn't a problem for us as we were out and about and the beach is just across the road.

This a nice looking property and the people who run it and work there are very nice. They offer a good free breakfast, too, but my room was very small and I wasn’t as comfortable as I would have liked with the air conditioner blowing directly on me.

We really enjoy staying at Baan Grood Arcadia. Its location is fabulous just across a quiet road to an almost deserted beach. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. Several local restaurants are within walking distance although you can eat at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is excellent and includes local dishes, eggs, cereals, fruits etc. The rooms are clean and include all you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Baan Grood Arcadia.

Beautiful beach, nice quiet place to chill out. Just don't go there for any form of night life, there is none. Wat Tang Sai is amazing, well worth a look. This resort has some nice bungalows and two great pools.coffee shop next to the main pool has good coffee and food, if a little over priced. The room booked was a Deluxe Pool View (max 3 ppl). This room is far to small for 3 people. So we spent 4 cramped days here. Other than that, this is a very reasonable hotel, next time we would book a villa instead. Brad

Quiet out of season
Well placed in this rather quiet resort of Baan Krut, the pool area was nice but the reception area was unwelcoming. Average rooms at the rear and would recommend pool villas as opposed to garden rooms. Drinks are cheap and breakfast was a satisfactory selection of Thai and western cuisine. We did not eat in the restaurant as plenty of good choices around, especially liked Li’s and Platoo. Nightlife was quiet and the only place open after 9pm was Country Roads which is open until midnight.

Great location right next to a lovely stretch of beach. Good buffet breakfast, a few bikes available which is great for cycling around the town and restaurants. Will visit again.

Great one night stay. Complimentary pick up and drop back at the train station. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good safety deposit box in the room. 50 bahts gets you to the temple on the hill and back with the staff. Lovely pool area with beach towels. Deckchairs on the beach with umbrellas to use.

The most popular hotel in Ban Krut
This is 3rd time at this hotel and would stay here again. Only had cheaper rooms at the back part of the hotel this time as only rooms available when booked but rooms ok for price and still can use all hotels facilities. One problem this year was swimming pool myself and other guests notice water making eyes sting very badly and also after long swim caused my mouth to bleed. Reported problem to staff and they checked and found problem with chemicals and pool acidity..this problem was dealt with over a few days but should have never happened in the 1st place. Free bikes also a nice bonus in this hotel but could do with brakes better serviced..though they are free and could always hire bike locally if needed for longer rides. Food in restaurant very good quality and also reasonably priced. Overall nice hotel but pool needs to be checked more hate to imagine if children had used it.

Beach front hotel with large pool.
As I know that this hotel is not equipped with elevator so I requested for ground floor rooms because we came here as family group that consist of my parents , age 68 and 65. When I checked in staff at front desk gave me three rooms on the 3rd floor, the highest one. I said I had requested for ground floor room but he said the room was fully booked all room were checked in. I try to explain that I came with my parents and they cannot climb up the three level stairs and I already requested for ground floor room, so they give me one room on the ground floor.

Good hotel let down by poor infrastructure
We stayed here for 2 nights and were extremely glad we had chosen this hotel other hotels in the area looked run down and deserted. On reaching the room we found that there was no tea/coffee maker as in the Hotels.com room description. Also the room phone was out of order. A very apologetic member of staff said that he would inform housekeeping and maintenance. Within 5 minutes a room maid arrived with kettle, cups, tea and coffee - VERY impressed. Then we got a call from reception to say that the phone could not be fixed and would we like to move to a Superior room for the same price. We readily accepted this offer - VERY good service. Comfy bed, the only downside was the extremely small wardrobe, anyone staying for 5+ nights would struggle - especially considering there is no chest of drawers. The hotel provides bikes which was great for seeing the local area. The swimming pool is one of the best we've come across. Good size,immaculately clean and a nice sun lounger area. The first night we walked along the beach road to a local restaurant. Afterwards we tried to find somewhere for a drink - no where open. Even the hotel coffee shop/bar which was supposed to be open until 9pm had its door locked at 8.45pm. The second night we ate in the hotel restaurant.Excellent food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if only the local area was improved on for restaurants and a bar or two.

True five-star quality
We have stayed here three or four times now, and this Centara is hard to fault. It's location is not ideal for Bangkok-bound tourists as it is quite a way from the centre of the city and the kinds of places you are likely to want to visit. But if, like us, you have specific needs or business in this part of Bangkok it is definitely the place to stay. Having said that, outside of rush hour, twenty minutes or less will see you in Silom or Sukhumvit. Not bad by Bangkok standards! The Centara chain is quite unpredictable (I've stayed at one that I wouldn't give more than two stars to), but the Ladprao one is superb. The rooms are terrific, the service good (and staff attitudes most commendable), and it has a true five-star ambience. This visit, I booked a Club Deluxe Suite for THB5,800 -- excellent value. Because I wanted a smoking room we were upgraded to a slightly larger suite on the fifth floor with separate living/sleeping rooms. Other than a slightly odd layout to the bathroom, the room was well designed and in excellent condition. Very comfortable in every regard. And the Club Lounge is super -- wonderful service, great breakfast (unless you want Thai food), and terrific cocktail hour nibbles. Connected to the hotel is the massive Ladprao Central shopping mall, and a 50 Baht cab ride away is Chatachuk Market where you could easily spend the whole weekend browsing the various departments.

Weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday. The hotel was recommended and we in turn would recommend it. Food good, garden villa had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, nice good size pool, right next to the beach. Lovely thailand area.

Retired couple,...Our third return to Ban Krut. First to Arcadia. Stayed in the cheapest rooms at the back of the resort.Bht1200/nt/room Small,comfortable,clean,daily complimentary coffee/tea etc. No hanging space for clothes(so would have to leave all clothes in suitcases) Although a distance to walk to the reception,road,beach, the bicycles available for free made local transport easy even for 65yrs+ Breakfast was good, though fresh orange Juice & Yoghart would have made it GREAT!! Internet worked most times.The pool,beach & location were highlights.There is free pick-up/return to rail station, but any area further away it costs Bht100/person. We arrived by Bus and were dropped on Petchkasem Rd,(9klm.away on Freeway). A call to the resort and they were there in 15mins.
