"Great location! Right across the bridge in Indiana and 1 block from the Ohio River. Even though “downtown”, very safe area. Walked our dogs multiple times throughout the mornings and evenings, and always felt safe. House is very cute & cozy, and host was very prompt with responses. "

"We loved our stay for a quick getaway. We arrived on a Sunday. Our only wish was that the market and coffee shop were open for a snack before dinner. Other than that it was wonderful!"

"The house was very comfy for a weekend stay. We had plenty of space to accommodate all our needs. As others mentioned the old house does equal squeaky floors. Someone mentioned recently the house was cold. It was cold in January for us as well when we arrived. We easily adjusted the thermostat and the house stayed cozy the entire time. Beds were comfy, towels were plentiful, and everything worked. 4 women... always felt safe, and the access to Louisville was excellent. I love a trouble free stay, and that's exactly what we got. We wanted for nothing. "

"We Absolutely Loved Our Stay at Deaconess Guesthouse!We loved everything about this house! The tall ceilings, comfortable sitting areas, and the beautiful color palettes in each unit made it such a special and relaxing place to stay. The promotional boards with bits of history were so fun to read and gave the home extra character.The coffee bar was a huge hit with our group, and the little touches like the ice bucket and fully stocked bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were so appreciated. It made our stay effortless knowing that everything we needed—paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, towels—was already provided.The place was spotless when we arrived, and it was such a treat to have TVs in every room. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and when we had a small issue, someone came right away—not only to fix it but also to clean it thoroughly. The responsiveness was top-notch. Even when we asked for a vacuum, it was delivered immediately!This property is beautifully maintained and exceptionally well-managed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jeffersonville or the Louisville area!"

"Very nice place for a large group getaway, plenty of space for kids to play, numerous activities in the house, poker and theatre rooms are very nice. We enjoyed our three night stay, attractions in Louisville are easy to access from this location. "
