Clean, nice hotel with very friendly staff

Pros: Staff was friendly. Rooms were very nice. Great location to major sporting events.
Location: Area is a ghost town after 3pm on weekdays and all the time on weekends with the exception of a lot of sketchy people around the area.
Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Weekend Breakfast staff lady is one of the most kind and friendly people I have ever met. Always smiling, always friendly and she made a lot of people start their day off right. Rooms are very clean and well stocked. Area is super dead as everything closes at 3 pm during the week and not opened at all during the weekend. Very strange for a downtown of a major city. A lot of sketchy characters roaming around the downtown core. Lots of construction. I would certainly book here again for the staff and the room.

Convenient downtown hotel with great staff!

Pros: Minor road construction in front
The Res Inn was a great value and the staff was super. In the heart of downtown Houston convenient to the Convention center and the room was very comfortable.

Overall, a nice place to stay. My only minor complaint is that the front desk staff should be more knowledgeable about local attractions. When I first checked-in, I asked the front-desk staff about a popular attraction in Houston and they were not aware or seemed willing to find-out.

Great Hotel!

Stayed Fri-Sun. Staff is excellent and genuinely care about customers. Spacious clean room. Ours had a beautiful outlook of the city. Breakfast has an excellent variety and constantly being refilled. Only downside is the $30/night to park your car, but everyone charges for parking in Houston. There is also a bit of a wait time to retrieve cars since everyone's check out time is the same. My husband arrived a day after me and before he was allowed up to the room the Manager called to verify with me. I really appreciate the safety measures taken for my family and me. Centrally located to pretty much everything. Will definitely stay here again!

Pride Formation

I recently stayed at this hotel on June 25th and I can honestly say it was the BEST night stay ever! I booked a room because of the Pride Parade festivities and it was the best choice for a hotel. The location, the extremely helpful and friendly staff and the room was impeccable!!! The room was spotless! I will definitely stay again and I encouraged my friends to do the same!

Love the Hotel, Not the Construction

The staff was very pleasant, the room increadibly spacious, the breakfast was the best (eggs, sausage and oatmeal, yay!) - but there are no places in the area for a quick bite after 6, overnight parking is expensive, and there was a lot of construction around the hotel when we went.
