The staff were all very helpful, attentive, and friendly. I love the little detail of the cabinet concealing the hairdryer. The in room dining was delicious and very timely. I was disappointed that my room did not have a robe, and my traveling companion’s room did not have a chaise seat at the end of the bed. Overall, the good things most definitely outweigh the disappointing things.

Great location! Exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Room was clean quiet. Love the valet and concierge services. History of the hotel made for a very unique experience. Would have enjoyed having a pool but otherwise will definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

The hotel is lovely. Parking was a breeze, check in fast and the room was large and well appointed. The staff were great. It just felt a little unsafe at night in the surrounding area. When you get a few blocks away it improves.

We always stay here for our Anniversary when wanting to have a simple downtown getaway. Everyones always nice and accommodating. Room is always clean and well stocked. I highly recommend getting the breakfast because it’s absolutely the best and worth it.

The hotel has a lot of historical value, it used to be an old bank. The staff was very attentive and nice. We had an incident with the AC, it wasn’t cooling around midnight. Front desk sent a technician to repair, took a few minutes but it was resolved. Overall the stay was excellent , but that minor incident made it a good stay review!

The only thing I can complain about was the weather: the extraordinary cold and icy conditions left the area a ghost town and so exploring the city was not an option. The hotel itself was warm and the staff friendly. Thank you!

Rooms a/c was broken, the shower was out of soap, and one of the mattresses reeked of piss. The front desk was friendly and the nice repair man fixed the a/c. Had to really convince the service women to get us a new mattress, but she finally agreed after smelling the mattress. All problems were resolved in the end but me and my group expected better from such a high quality hotel.

Terrible stay!! Zero sleep!!
Beware before you book this hotel!! There is a bar/club across the street that plays music SO loud you will get no sleep! It was shaking the building it was so loud until the wee hours. Our A/C in our room was also making terrible noises all night so we just had to turn it off (hotel is old). Restaurant downstairs was terrible… it took forever to get service and the food was just ok. This was a family trip and we were so looking forward to our stay. Instead we headed home as zombies after getting zero sleep. It’s expensive and you do not get what you pay for!! The hotel staff know the club noise is an issue and I understand they can’t control the club but they could have at least disclosed the noise level/issue at booking or check in. When we called the front desk at midnight They told us it was just for one night for a ‘Christmas Party’ so we opted not to move/downgrade our room as we had already unpacked… then it was a party all night the next night too. We won’t ever stay here again.

Very disappointed considering our first stay was great. Street party going on till 4am making it impossible to sleep. No hot water in the shower. Extremely pricey for what it is.
