It was the worst experience in my life in a hotel rats roaches disgusting I should be refunded for my stay there I walked into the hotel room sat down on the bed roach at the roach rat I didn't even stay there one night I booked it for five nights walked out maybe 10 minutes later from that place no I don't recommend this place to anyone and that place should be closed down

Never Again
I arrived to the hotel it was a note saying be back soon with a number on it. I called man picks up and say they can’t check any one in because they have no water. Now hotels is giving a hard time bout my refund what a waste.

Not worth it
The room was freezing, they are made in a repurposed parking garage. The building isn’t even closed off from the elements. There were roaches in the room and the room temperature was 61 when I got in no carpet on the floor just anti slip spray over the concrete. The water in the shower smelled like rotten eggs. Parking was very limited.

The floors have no carpet or tile, you see the pipes in the ceilings, there was no remote, a dirty towel & smoke detector were under the cabinet. The area is bad as well even though its the Galleria. The manager offered a refund through this site.

They charge you for parking only after you stayed there and no one told you ahead of time and secondly it is not mentioned on the Internet before you actually pay that they’re going to be additional charges for parking

I came there at mighty night with 2 kids in the car and I drove 4 hours to get there . But no one at the front desk. I try to call special customer service they transfer to the front desk couple times but still no one answered. End up I have to book another hotel after driving around with my tired 2 kids . Im very piss off . And that was my very terrible night 😡😡😡😡

Booked a room and got there only to be told they were not taking reservations due to remodeling. Not only did we have to scramble to find another place to stay, but i just got charged as a no-show several weeks after the fact.

Worst stay ever…
Tried looking for the front desk. The reception area and rooms were a converted parking garage. Upon going to my room the hallway was hot due to the structure being a garage. My room felt like it’s was a constructed pod 1st room had roaches roaming around and a non functional toilet. They moved me to another room. Room had 2 small curtains that wouldn’t cover window completely. Later that night I was locked out of my room tried to find receptionist, nowhere to be found waited for 30 min before he casually strolled in, he looked like he was high on something. By that point I was fed up and left

Horrible. Absolutely horrible.
Site said it was available for early check in. No one was onsite. Check in desk had been moved to outside the property and was locked dialed the number on the door and they said they were closed. Attempted twice to get my money back and still no resolution.

I did Not stay and lost my prepaid booking. No one answer the door out front at street. There was a note to go to parking garage around back. Very shady place and office location. Nothing as describe online. I would not allow myself much lees and family member or friend stay at this Hotel. I called and called number on door. Finally a man answered and said he would open door. I waited and he never came. I just left the the nasty hotel and went to another Hotel. Terrible service and Hotel. I was just looking for a spot inexpensive for the night because of late travel. It was by Galleria and seemed good for the short time i needed and late arrival. What a mistake.

This property is a real dump and that is not an exaggeration. I would not even stay there. Their pictures on your selection list are a complete farce and should be taken off. A real dump of a place and should be removed!

IF UR LOOKING FOR A HOTEL- DONT BOOK AT OYO GALLERIA! ITS A PARKING GARAGE WITH ROOMS! Its not a hotel, its seriously just a 95•f DEGREES parking garage. My whole stay- it was a super sweltering 95 DEGREES hot parking garage, THERES CONCRETE FLOORS IN EVERY ROOM!(NO TILE OR CARPET) IT WAS A PARKING GARAGE WITH ROOMS! DONT BOOK HERE! 95 DEGREES THE WHOLE STAY I complained to my front desk & they were gonna try to put me in a different room, but that room is ALSO 95 DEGREES! BECAUSE EVERY ROOM IS THE SAME! THE FRONT DESK IS LOCATED INSIDE A DARK, SMALL, RUN DOWN PARKING GARAGE BECAUSE THE WHOLE “”hotel”” IS A NON-INSULATED NO A/C PARKING GARAGE WITH ROOMS. WAS NOT INFORMED THAT PARKING IS $10 A DAY. I WAS TOLD, THERES FREE PARKING. THE ONLY GOOD THING: front desk lady was super professional, nice, open minded, understanding & friendlly 2 OTHER GOOD THINGS: THE MATTRESS IN THE ROOM WAS RECENTLY NEW (the plastic was still a little bit on) FIRM, IN GOOD SHAPE, PLUSHY & COMFORTABLE. BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM MY ROOM! I was on the 6th floor, i had a big window with curtains (that was in good shape). The front desk lady took her time to accommodate me to my room, engaging into friendly, appropriate, nice, & professional conversations. She introduced me to some of the men in the staff. Ensured me that they are professional & that I’m safe. Its not even a hotel or motel. Motel 6 & super 8 is better. Booked & payed online thru hotels.com so couldnt get refund

I would not wish the room I had upon my greatest of enemies. I walked into a room that was 85 degrees with the AC unit blasting. I was so hot that I attempted to sleep on the floor by the AC unit which didn't help due to the unit blowing air upwards. Definitely some sort of airflow issue that should be taken care of.

Worst hotel experience wvery
I’ve stayed in a lot of budget hotels so I have an idea of what to expect. The room itself was clean but the common areas were absolutely trashed. Pretty sure there was feces on the floor of the elevator. The hotel also charged $10 for parking yet only has about 2/3 the spaces need, so parking was a free for all. My car was blocked in until almost 11 am because another guest double parked behind me. Spend the extra money this time and avoid this one.

The pictures advertised is not what the rooms look like. Looks like a drug/prostitution hotel a lot of mysterious looking people hanging outside like drug transactions. No one is never at the front desk. Elevator lights do not work. Not safe. Dirty place to live no carpets on the floor the floor had blood stains on it. Overall worst place to book. No parking they charge $10 a night for parking and $59 a night for pets. Worst decision I made.

This place was a bad pick, the whole "hotel" is built inside what it used to be a parking building. The inside of the room is a joke, floors are just painted cement. Very simple room but I would of paid alittle more for comfort.

The place was filthy and in terrible disrepair. In a really upscale area, it stands out like a sore thumb. People hanging out by the parking garage smoking. The smell of smoke was so intense my car and I smelled like smoke from just driving in and turning around. Expedia should not have this property on their site. I tried in vain to cancel my reservation after seeing the outside of the property and the parking lot. Both OYO and Expedia were impossible to reach.

Nothing was unique a very unclean, insecure place more than a ghetto . Very dangerous place to be, very dirty. I was so disappointed couldn't park cause they're was no parking.
