Upon arrival, we were informed that hotel is under partial renovation. NO restaurant on site, NO pool, NO workout facilities…just sleep. We cancelled and stayed up the street. Traveling with 2-baseball teams - this is completely unacceptable. SHAME on hotel AND HOTELS.com for not informing me.

Although I really appreciate the staff's acknowledge of how shabby the hotel is (as it undergoes renovations), the photos of this hotel are VERY misleading. Aside from the amenities being shut down, the guest rooms look shabby, outdated, and nothing like the photos. We cancelled immediately after seeing these conditions and booked at a neighboring hotel. Someone should look into these room photos because they can't be from the same hotel.

DON'T use elevator closest to the check in desK
The room was comfortable. The check in process was simple. Some updates needed especially in the bathroom as the material on the bath has peeling and not a little bit. Also, 2 of the elevators are iffy. We stayed on the 2nd floor, pushed 2 on the elevator in which it stopped at 2 didn't open went upwards then slowly creeked down. My daughter informed the check in clerk his response was almost a "yeah we know" shrugged shoulder reaction. Nothing was done and the elevator on the opposite end won't light up 2nd floor if you push it so you only hope you land on the floor you selected. Last thing, you can take the steps but it won't lead you to the lobby just to the outside and you can't take them going up from indoors nor can acess it from the outside. Would NOT stay at this hotel again.

Poor communication
The Hotel manager was great and friendly we check in to room and when we got there we noticed the room was dirty and stains on the bed called the manager and he was sorry and got us into a new room quck and easy. The other complaint was we where not notified that the pool, bar, and restaurant where closed for remodeling until we got there and nothing on the Hotels.com website about the closures either so our kids where pretty upset.

Quick stay
Janelle checked me in and she was absolutely great! Very personable, welcoming and provided good information about the area. The hotel is being remodeled currently, the lobby and dining area look wonderful. However, you are not able to order food or use the pool or work out facility. My trip was short so I just had food delivered and crashed. I do hope they at least paint the outside of the hotel when I pulled up I was a little concerned ☺️

Underwhelmed.
Breakfast was noted as included but they haven't served any food since October 2021. That was a huge disappointment and added to our expenses. They didn't even have fruit or to-go bags for guests like so many hotels did during covid. The room needs renovation. Sounds like other floors are in the process of renovation.

Skip on this one.
Shower had no soap in dispenser, fire alarms did not work which is a safety issue, "fire watch patrol" notification posted, (there was none). There was so much dust in the room that I sneezed like one of Seven Dwarfs. Do better.

DO NOT STAY HERE
This is by far the worst place I've stayed at in the last 4 years. 1. The hotel did not have room service, food, bar or anything because it was "under repair" however none of this was mentioned when we booked. 2. The hotel was disgusting, the minute I opened the hot water tap in the bathroom, brown water came out. The bathtub floor had yellow stains and hair on it. It's like it was not touched or cleaned for weeks. 3. Me and my fiancee had an event to go to right when we got into town so you have to understand we did not have time to switch hotels or find another spot. We had to get ready and head out. 4. I asked if I could get a late check out at 1 instead of a normal time of noon and the lady said that I couldn't because I wasn't an "elite" member or something. She said the most she could do is 12.30 but with all the disgusting finds and lack of services that were not mentioned at the time of booking, you would think that they would not be such sticklers about giving me a late check out 5. I would really want my money back, I remember also considering airbnbs and other hotels during my time in Houston and I definitely regret not choosing another place to stay. I would definitely recommended anyone considering this hotel to give them a call first to see the condition of the establishment and DO NOT believe the pictures on the website, the place is much more disgusting in real life.

Upon arrival the hotel was not the same as advertised. The place was under construction, remodeling the gym, pool, restaurant and bar. Only one ice machine and microwave available on the 6th floor for the entire hotel. Multiple floors had safety hazards secondary to the construction . Minifridge in the rooms did not work and spoiled our food in the process. Overall disappointed with the hotel and expedia for allowing them to pose as a great establishment when in fact it is closer to being one accident away from a lawsuit.

Went down there for the BBQ Cook Off and when we got to the hotel found out that the Restaurant and Bar were closed for remodeling was pretty bummed about that. Would be nice if that information was available on the site for picking hotels

Staff was superb. However, the property is very 'tired', sheets and towel smelled of clorox, tub had been painted over and paint was peeling - did not seem sanitray, water in faucets tasted 'fishy'.

Staff very friendly, but the hotel is very dated having windows that are so old and water stained you couldn’t see out of them and Highway 59 was extremely noisy.

The only thing that about this hotel was that you had a roof over your head. All the amenities did not work. No gym, no room service, no bar, rooms phones down, ice machine down. The hotel had nothing because they were doing renovations that I was aware of prior to booking. Worst hotel experience ever.

I didn't know they were remodeling. I hate when they put us in a corner room. The toilet would get stuck and keep running when flushed so we had to jiggle it, the shower hardware came off. The room was in much need of TLC.

Renovations in progress
They are undergoing renovations right now. Things are very limited. Amenities closed, cafe closed. All understandable. But the AC barely worked. It was very humid and warm in the room. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall, carpet peeling up, paint poorly done. Really hoping the room we were in was slated for renovations soon and this wasn't the "after." The mattress was very firm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were only there 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal. The struggling AC was the biggest challenge.

Great hotel! Key card issue.
The only issue was that my key cards did not work twice. I ended up being given a different room. Then the next day when i came back to my room the key cards for that room no longer worked. Just strange.

Very disappointed in my stay. The building is under significant renovations and there are NO amenities available at this time as advertised. The room was clean but was in disrepair and the A/C was not working properly either night. I spoke with the staff twice about this and was told “there’s a lot of people trying to use the A/C at once” as well as being told by the am staff that someone would work on it and the. The on staff stated that there was no record of this. I am generally very easy to please, but this was a very unpleasant experience

Air conditioner not working properly, Bed too firm, Everything Too Old for my liking,No pool, No gym, No Restaurant. Did not meet my expectations. The worst is that Expedia won’t answer my call for my Refund. I was supposed spend 2 nights but I was disappointed and left after a night.
