The hotel was alright

Posted 26-Aug-2015
It is currently going under a ton of renovations in the lobby and public areas that make it look like a construction site. Aside from that, the room was clean and nice. I only stayed one night so I don't have a ton of positive things to say or complaints.

Lots of room for improvement!!!!

Posted 26-Aug-2015
Room was alot smaller than what was on the site. The room was never vacuumed and the comforter was stained. The queen bed was two smaller beds put together. My wife and I kept falling into the middle and were never able to get a good nights sleep! Housekeeping made us feel like we were bothering them. The front lobby was the size of a closet and the personnel was overwhelmed by the guest and their requests. The lobby was under construction and there was dust everywhere. I work for a construction company and let me tell you that all that dust would have never been accepted!! Just an terrible experience overall!!!

Good and improving.

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, clean, friendly.
Cons: Rooms should have a refrigerator. Elevator key-card was a bit tricky to use. Never did find a local news channel on the t.v.
Location: Just a few blocks from Minute Maid Park and a 30 minute Metro ride to NRG stadium. A number of good local bars and restaurants nearby.
The hotel was centrally located and we could walk to some local bars and sports venue. The Metro rail stop was less than a block away and was convenient and easy to use. The hotel was under construction as it was remodeling some of the entry area. This did create noise and congestion. However, the staff tried to make the best of it and one day offered free beer/wine/soft drinks as a way to thank patrons for their patience with the construction. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The gym was actually a gym - not just a fitness center with a couple of treadmills. We would stay there again.

Great downtown hotel

Posted 22-Aug-2015
Pros: Facilities, cleanliness, beds, valet parking, staff, location - everything
Cons: Nothing I could imagine.
Location: Near Toyoya Center and plenty of restaurants.
The location was perfect for attending an event at Toyota Center. The staff was top notch as were the facilities. The room itself was clean, well appointed and had luxurious beds where we slept like babies. I hope to have a reason to return soon - I may even just make one up!

Though there was some remodeling and people seem to be new to their job, the staff went out of their way to help when we requested some help.

Club Quarters was perfect for my stay-cation!

Posted 20-Aug-2015
Pros: I like the location of Club Quarters in the heart of downtown Houston and I also enjoyed the historical aspects of architecture within the hotel.
Cons: Can't think of anything I came across during my stay that could be improved.
Location: I quickly found the downtown grocery store which was really nice especially having a fridge and microwave in my room.
If I should ever need to return to Houston for business or personal, I would definitely consider Club Quarters again. Check-in was so simple and upgrading to the suite was a great idea! I loved having the fully stocked kitchen. Another great feature was the purified water available in the hallways. LOVED that!

Club Quarters Stay - Houston, TX

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: The rooms are spacious
Cons: Customer Service - caring about someone's stay/experience.
This hotel is under renovation and is a mess in the lobby areas and the bar/restaurant. My room's air conditioner squealed a high pitch all night long and when I complained that it kept me up all night, the front desk just said they would have maintenance take a look. They could not have cared less that it kept me up all night.

Poor Rating System

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: location
Cons: professionalism of staff. Size of rooms, renovations to hotel and rooms all together, mattress quality,
Location: Toyota Center nearby
I narrowed my search to 4 and 5 Star hotels and this one came up as the most inexpensive. This was not a 4 star hotel. A mid 3 Star at best. The hotel was simply an on par Best Western, but with smaller rooms. The standard room I stayed in would be ideal for truck drivers looking to get a good nights rest.
