The lobby looks great and in general the staff was very welcoming, but that's all. The room was frankly in poor condition and the toilet was gloomy (although clean). When I was ready to go to bed, the AC began making a strange and rhythmic noise that prevented me from sleeping. I call the receptionist, who was very gentle, and he immediately gave me another room. It's done, I thought...no! The AC was making a similar noise in that room too. Moreover, everything in both rooms was very creaky, such as the door, the roof, etc. You can clearly see that the hotel is old and, despite some superficial renovation, everything is still "original". Personally, next time I visit Houston, I'll pick another place where to stay.
