The location is terrific. The check in/out process was seamless and we were even able to get in a bit early (which was great). The unit amenities were as advertised and the unit was clean (the cleaning folks were lovely). There are two problems with this place - one specific to the unit we were in and the other being a broader security issue. From a security perspective, this is an unmanaged property without anyone staffing the lobby. The storage lockers are not very secure and we found homeless people in the lobby multiple times (including smoking in the lobby). The unit we were in was directly on top of a bar that had live bands playing music LOUD until at least 11:00 every night (and I understand it goes until 3:00 am on the weekends). This was not disclosed in advance and was a major problem with the unit. Overall, great location but I would never stay here again due to the noise.

Great location for an apartment in the middle of everything. The place was clean but the furnishings appear to be a tad old or just heavily used. Various lights were broken or missing. It just looked a little run down in the rooms but overall clean and a decent place to stay. The location is really what made it amazing.

Large comfortable apartment. Location is excellent, near to shops, restaurants and tour pick-up points. Very quick and responsive to emails and queries. I will definitely book Room with a View again on my next trip to Iceland.

The apartment itself was very spacious and modern. However, we were so disappointed about the noise levels. From midnight through til 4.30am we didnt get any sleep because there are late night bars directly opposite/underneath and people were singing and shouting and there was loud music all night long. The first few hours of the stay were perfect it really was just the noise that was the problem
