In need of modernisation, the bathroom sealant all needed changing, the doors to the room are in a bad state of repair as is some of the decor.
The security to the hotel and the hotel room leave alot to be desired and quite worrying, we came back at about 22.30, you could walk straight into the reception, up the stairs to the hotel rooms where the only protection the room had was a flimsy lock that anyone could get into, so I feel your belongings and personal safety are at risk.
To be fair, it looks like a hotel that's used for workers throughout the week.
The walls were paper thin, you can hear everything from the room next door and somebody must have had dogs cause we heard alot of howling.
It's just a grubby hotel, I wouldn't go back there, the only plus side is you are a thirty second walk to the train station and there's an amazing Indian restaurant across the road. The pub attached to this hotel, wasn't great either.
