Went for a drink to find bars locally closed at 10pm. Parking information inaccurate and got over charged due to the member of staff messing up our parking ticket.

The showers never got properly hot. Not one of the staff ever asked whether things were okay. They were basically polite but nothing more. The hotel probably can’t help it but in the evenings that area is very sketchy.

The check in was easy with pleasant team members. The room unfortunately was not great, the bed sheets were clean at least but the bathroom had a constant smell of the drains coming through. There's 1 iron to cover the entire hotel which was so filthy it stained and ruined my shirt. Won't be booking another ibis hotel after this.

Internet speed was too slow to watch even a 10 minute youtube clip. Couldnt watch smoothely. Stoped again again..It would be good to have an option to choose for speedy internet even if it should be paid more fir the faster internet connection.

I stayed for 2 nights. After the first night I asked reception to get someone to look at air con in room as it was very stuffy and the thermostat did not seem to work. Not sure if it was looked at or not but no difference for the 2nd night.

Ok - building and rooms a bit tired, and the water pressure was almost non existent, however bed comfortable and clean.

Great location
Handy location for the station and rail-air bus (only 5 minute walk), as well as shopping. Friendly reception staff, lovely clean room and shower and comfortable bed. Exactly what I wanted! Thank you.

Room was clean and functional. Personally not that keen on the style of decor in the room of drawn on books and ornaments. Also there was no toilet brush. Also better not to include an offer of free drink on the room card if the person does not qualify.

No parking. RIP OFF.
Although the hotel its self was as you would expect from a 3 star hotel, the lack of parking cost me an extra £43 that I had not expected to pay. Staying in a hotel, generally come with bags and belongings which are not ideal to carry 0.7 miles in the dark, wind and rain, trying to following a route on google maps on my phone. After getting lost, freezing and my belongings getting wet, I ended up paying for an uber from their nearest carpark, to the hotel. Knowing how difficult this was to navigate the evening before, I then used another Uber to get myself back to carpark... to then be faced with a £23 fee for the pleasurse of using this carpark (which the hotel reccomended) I was parked for around 12 hours. I am now unexpectedly £43 out of pocket. Not to mention I did not sleep because of the amount of noise from other guests until 5am and the paper thin walls.

Hidden gem
No parking on site but the walk from the carpark was pleasant via the town centre. Car park was not expensive. Staff helped me over the phone before arrival and when on site with various questions. They were polite and welcoming at all times. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location and I would use this hotel again.

The room was pretty average. Dust all over the place. Blocked sink and when removing the plug hole saw a large amount of hair!! The room was very hot and stuffy. The biggest thing was the hotel advertises free parking but there isn’t on onsite car park!

Awful location, when I called to get info about parking the receptionist was not at all helpful, had to park almost 1 mile away and carry suitcases through the town. Very expensive for what you get, as far as the room is concerned. Only good thing was the breakfast.

A really nice hotel, with modern rooms, and a lovely restaurant which served a range of breakfast options. Only down side was when I booked it the website said 'Parking available' and this turned out to be in a multi-storey 5 minutes away
