Our waterfront beach home is the ideal place to relax and take in the peaceful views of Hood Canal. With three bedrooms, it comfortably accommodates six people. Our property is fenced all the way around and is pet friendly. There are many places to relax, inside and out. With decks off both the beach cabin and the boat house, you can find both sun and shade during the summer months. The outdoor area offers plenty of seating, a fire pit, a lawn for playing, and easy access to the beach. In the winter months, the inside area is a cozy spot for relaxation. Play a board game, read a book, or cook a nice meal in our well appointed kitchen. From all the windows, you’ll enjoy watching the various wildlife from bald eagles, herons and other seabirds, to seals, sea lions, and even the occasional whale. Just north of the town of Hoodsport, our location offers quick access to grocery and restaurant options as well as plenty of outdoor activities. There is wonderful hiking throughout the Olympic National Forest and at nearby lakes. Hoodsport is a scuba diving paradise, as we are very close to Sund Rock Marine Preserve. A short drive north brings you to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, a fun place to enjoy outdoor dining on local eats, or to purchase local shellfish. There are also golf courses and casinos nearby. Of course once you walk through the gate of the property, you may not want to leave! \*Please note that there is parking for 2 cars. This year was Giggle Fish. It is a beautiful setting with lots of opportunities for amazing experiences. Reviewer Comments: We spent four lovely nights at Giggle Fish. Everything was perfect and a place that I would recommend to family and friend. We had to make a trip back to the property as my son-in-law left his keys. Derrick was so helpful in contacting the house keeper who made a special trip to get us the keys that she had hidden in a safe place. Spent most of the time on the huge deck where we saw a bald eagle the first morning. Also saw orcas and sea lions. And stargazing was amazing. We had plenty of room for our family of five and bonus was the incredible fenced yard so we felt very comfortable letting our two dogs roam, which they absolutely loved. Plus there was a scooper and hose for messes in the yard. Loved the bonus boat house bedroom and access to the beach. The road was pretty busy on the weekend but the sound gets muffled by the sounds of the water. Great little town with grocery store nearby and excellent hamburger/teriyaki/ice cream place and the best little pizza place just a mile or so up the road. Checkin was easy, beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and did I mention the view!! Hoping to make this an annual vacay. Already miss having coffee on the deck staring at the water. ##### Julie C. Reviewer Comments: We go out annually to Hood Canal. Usually we stay in a family cabin but this year we were having an anniversary so several of us found other properties to stay in. Giggle Fish offered a very comfortable house in a great location for our group. Plenty of room for the kids to move about and Grandma loved the boathouse cabin. We did the things we usually love at Hood Canal: kayaking, hiking at Staircase, easy grocery shopping and looking around Hoodsport and just sitting by the water enjoying every moment.
