"Best nature coast vacation rental in Homosassa for couples wanting to escape it all! We have stayed in this lovely home twice now and we will be visiting again. The manatees swimming through the backyard, fish,turtles and we seen a baby black tip shark this time. It’s really exciting to just turn the spot light on out back on the dock around 9pm and just watch all the wildlife. Even the squirrels and raccoons are entertaining to watch. Very peaceful and smelled so clean when we walked through the door. There are so many antique and thrift shops around the area you could spend a rainy day enjoying that. We took a couple hour drive to peace river for a day to look for fossils in the river. Found many sharks teeth and prehistoric fossils if your into that it is a beautiful river and to find an area to sift for cheap I recommend Brownsville Park and pay 2 dollars for parking. The owners to this property are right next door which is convenient but honestly you don’t even know they are there the back yard is very private. If you take the gheenoe out you will almost always see manatees it seems. If your not having any luck paddle out to the middle and just patiently wait a few moments with your paddles out of the water in silence to hear one coming up for air. They seem very curious so they will come close. I would recommend this house to anyone who loves nature and privacy. "

"This is an older hotel, with its share of wear and tear. But it is spotlessly clean, the staff is great, the pool is sparkling, clean and well maintained at a great location with a restaurant on property. "

"Our family had a magnificent time in Homosassa at this beautiful home on Halls River. We had 6 of our 7 children with us from ages 19-8, and all enjoyed the many amenities of this property. The house is even better than the pictures, and I greatly appreciated the cleanliness and lack of clutter around house and in the kitchen. We have rented homes in FL for the last 13 years, and this was definitely one of the cleanest, most well-stocked homes with the best accommodations we have ever used. Chris was very responsive and helpful to any and all questions. The home is in a wonderful area that is peaceful, not a lot of traffic, and yet surrounded by all the conveniences needed. We had plenty of restaurants within 2 miles or less to choose from, and shopping at Beall’s was an unexpected treat!! The pool was a highlight as it was perfectly heated and very clean. We swam everyday and enjoyed the enormous screened-in area as well. The beds and pillows were comfy, the lighting was warm and cozy. Just so many details about this house made us feel so at home. We also kayaked 2 days during our stay and were so delighted to see manatees in the springs! What an experience! We were so grateful to have access to plenty of kayaks and life vests, oars, etc, for our whole family to go. My boys also had fun fishing off the dock everyday. All in all, we highly recommend this property to any and all who enjoy relaxing, mixed with sunshine, outdoors, wildlife, and a little adventure. "

"This place was absolutely amazing! The boys fished the first night and caught a bass and catfish immediately! Location is amazing! Short paddle ride to Homosassa springs where we spent a lot of time admiring the manatees! We came to Homosassa last spring break and stayed one street over from this place. This place has a fenced in backyard there are a few places if you have a smaller dog they can get out because ours did lol. Kayaks were amazing and the boys stayed in them! Beds are very comfortable. Had an issue with the garage door (our fault) owner was 45 min away and luckily his neighbor was able to help us. Owner checked in with us day before also offered to have his neighbor help us get kayaks in the water but the boys did it. Would definitely stay here again!"

The the weather was just right I was able to see the in-laws and my sister all in one the location right in the middle of where I needed to be.. everything in the house worked, the host supplied everything that was needed!
