"The first room they gave me still had someone's belongings in there. I assume they gave me someone else's room. The kitchen didn't seem to be fully equiped, and there was no sponge, soap, dishwasher tabs or drying towel. The bedding felt cheap and cold. The cables hanging directly above the bed for the bed lights made it...

Top Holzheim Hotel Reviews

GINN Apartment-Hotel Stuttgart Esslingen

8/10 Good

"Really convenient location about 5 minutes from Esslingen train station, with 2 supermarkets right around the corner. Nice to have cooking facilities, albeit small. Comfortable bed, strong shower, but sometimes a bad smell coming from the drain. Doors close very loudly, so maybe bring earplugs. The door to the common hallway slams loudly, so request a room at the far end of the corridor. Note: you need a smartphone for this place, as you receive your door code by email at 3 pm to check in, and if you don’t have a wifi signal it can be tricky. I logged on to the public wifi in the shopping mall across the street. You also check out with your phone."

Hotel Ochsen

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms were very clean, updated, but in keeping with the original structure. Visible wooden beams in the rooms and halls, stucco walls, plenty of power outlets in room. Bathroom very clean with shower-tub for washing rather than a walk-in style shower. Staff was excellent, friendly and professional. We got to the restaurant about half an hour before they closed the kitchen and it was no problem. Excellent food and service. Plenty of parking available. Excellent breakfast the day we left."
