The beach house is only 3 minutes or 250 steps from the beach where the sand feels like walking on silk. A new pool has been added (March 2025), in the backyard, facing the mangrove. The house with 2 double bedrooms (King and Queen) and 2 full bathrooms with toilets, has been completely renovated and has very high-end services. The living room, open to the dining room, has a two-person sofa/bed/(Queen size). The kitchen with granite countertops, is fully equipped with utensils, dining ware, pots, pans, cooking tools coffee maker, air fryer, toaster, etc... The beach house is quietly located by the mangrove, so your stay will provide you with rest and tranquility. The central air conditioning offers comfort during the summer period. The water in the house is treated by a purification unit and a reverse osmosis system makes it possible to obtain drinking water free of all unwanted elements through a special tap in the kitchen. The rooms overlook the mangrove, surrounded by greenery. They are equipped with “Caribbean Shutters” or interior shutters to reduce the intensity of exterior light as much as possible and keep the bedrooms dark for those who like to sleep in. Plus, it adds a certain "Key West" charm. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a closet organizer with double mirrored sliding doors. The living room and bedrooms have internet television (FireTV). The living room opens onto a terrace/balcony or "patio" from which you can enjoy, in a rocking chair, a cocktail as the sun sets or stay at the beach and admire it with those who, every evening, witness this magnificent spectacle. On the ground floor, a large garage allows you to park two cars one behind the other. Through the garage, you can access the laundry room (washing machine and dryer) and the game room. If, by chance, the weather does not permit lounging on the sand or swimming in the water at 29°C/84°F (between May and October), then a foosball, a children's activity table and a pinball machine (professional) taken from the Star Wars series called the Mandalorian, will entertain you. You can also use the “beach wagon” to transport your beach chairs, parasol and beach bags effortlessly. On your return, an outdoor shower, under the stairs, well protected, will allow you to get rid of the sand. A quatuor of bicycles is available for guests who desire to scout the island with a breeze in their hair. To facilitate access for those who have difficulty climbing stairs, the house has a wheelchair lift. People with reduced mobility are welcome. Located on Anna Maria Island, south of Tampa Bay in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, the beach house is part of what Florida still has to offer in terms of a quaint, family-friendly beach resort. A small, free trolley, allows you to explore the villages on the island which have many restaurants, bars, and ice cream parlors. The house is 300 yards from all shops including a Publix supermarket. It is strategically and conveniently located. In 25 minutes by car, you can visit the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, free on Mondays. Also, the theater, the opera, and the Sarasota Orchestra present superb shows throughout the year. Road access is simple: from Tampa or Miami, Highway 75 and 275 pass through Bradenton, and Route 64 West or Cortez Avenue West, both lead to Anna Maria Island. By air, the closest airport (25') is Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ). The one in Tampa is 60' away. For fans of big game fishing or joyful sea trips or jet ski outings, many boat/jet ski rental companies offer their services in the surrounding area. Excursions are available as well as parasailing. Anna Maria Island can be enjoyed in all seasons. The "high season" is from December to April. Many vacationers spend their winter there far from the snow and the cold, which is why the friendly atmosphere and the spirit of the small fishing village attract tourists. The Beach House will allow you to spend an excellent vacation, in a region very sought after for its wild animals (Manatees, turtles, storks, cranes, pelicans, dolphins) and where the mild climate gives it a taste of paradise. When I first requested the booking the owner responded very quickly with information and confirmation. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hosts who showed us around and went over all the necessary details of the property. My husband and I spent my birthday week in this lovely home near Holmes Beach. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was very well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Everything necessary to enjoy beach time was available for our use including folding chairs, umbrella and mini cooler. There were even bicycles! The walk to the beach was short and easy. The house was wonderful, with everithing we need it! The game room is awesome. The beach is only a few steeps from the house. The beach is clear, clean, family environment. The house was very clean and just lovely. Gill and his wife were so nice. We really enjoyed talking to them. They made sure that we had everything we needed. The location was perfect. It was great being so close to the beach. Also, it was so handy being close to the trolley stop. We hope to come back and very much appreciate the hospitality they showed to us. ##### Sherrill O. The owner was very accommodating and showed us around the property. Location was great as it is super easy to get from one side of the island to the other. Grocery, Liquor, and Walgreens were very close and a hop, skip, & jump away from the beach. Provided us with wagon, chairs, and bikes to help us be prepared for island vacation living! They met us for check-in and walked us through the entire house. The beach house is very clean and updated throughout. Short walk to the beach with all the beach gear you need. The duel water filtration system was really nice, no need to buy bottled water. Highly recommended. ##### Rob R. The beach was only a 3 minute walk. There is a Publix, Dollar Tree, and Dunkin’ Donuts all within walking distance! The 3 bikes that were provided made it easy to explore Anna Maria Island! The game room has foosball and a very nice pinball machine which we all enjoyed. Owners are awesome! They had open communication and made our stay amazing! I highly recommend this property to make your vacation dreams come true. I’m hoping to visit again! ##### Dylan G. Gil and Valerie made us feel welcomed and met us there on our first day. The home was clean and had almost everything that we may need, plus some extra welcome goodies. It's not a long walk to the beach, it's a quiet area where the house is located and not far from a Plaza with stores, pharmacy, Publix and ice cream. We celebrated my daughter, Husband and my Mother's birthday. Everyone loved the place! ##### Jacqueline A. Our vrbo was conveniently located near the beaches,restaurants & shopping. The house had been recently remodeled. It was fully furnished with dishwasher, washer & dryer & wifi. The owners provided beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys with a wagon to carry them in. Also bikes were available as well. There were 3 of us for 2 weeks with a visit from our daughter & 5yr old grandson.The 3 of us are in our 70s & 80s, We found the stairs up to the living area to be difficult for us, There was an elevator to bring luggage & groceries up but apparently not working at the time, The owner has had a pool put in but was not ready for use at the time we were there,I would not recommend this lovely place to anyone with mobility issues or to families with small children as there is not a lot of space for play. That being said the location of this vrbo is so convenient that it would be easy to overlook any negatives, especially with the addition of the pool.The owners are lovely and very accommodating. We so enjoyed being away from the cold & snow of Upstate NY for 2 weeks! ##### David H. The home was great for our family of 4\. The location could not have been more perfect for our needs. The street is quiet and perfectly situated between the north and south parts of the island. The trolley stop was just a block away and we enjoyed the availability of the bicycles to explore. The new pool was an added treat, no need to leave if you just want to relax. The pool is full sun in the morning and the deck sunny most of the day, with the water shaded in the afternoon. The beach is a quick 2 block walk, and the provided wagon, chairs, cooler and umbrella made for an easy beach day. Laundry is available on the lower level (must go outside and downstairs) I would just suggest a laundry basket be made available for carrying items. The garage was nice to have and kept our rental car cool. We did not cook much this trip, other than breakfast. But, the kitchen had a decent stock of items for simple cooking. A blender would be nice and some plastic cups for use by the pool or for families with small children. Beach blankets were nice to have available. I would suggest some new bath towels (although there were plenty of towels available that met our needs). I have no complaints, just suggestions! The hosts were helpful and available if needed. We love AMI and would definitely stay at this property again. ##### KARIN W.
