I am a solo, middle-age female traveller who has just finished spent weeks travelling Vietnam with two more weeks to go. I stayed here for five nights and it is the best hotel have stayed in yet. The property is spectacular with numerous pools and lots of areas to sit in and have a quiet moment. I have never received better service from hotel staff in any country I have travelled to. La Siesta is located just outside the crowded old quarters, but is easily walkable or hire a Grab. They offer free bicycles, which is a great way to explore the rice fields and take in the beautiful scenery. Don’t let having to ride on some of the streets scare you - they lead you to quiet areas and pathways through the rice fields, and to some of the cutest cafes in the middle of nowhere where you can enjoy a coffee while taking in the view. If I hadn’t already booked non-refundable hotel rooms in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, I would have changed my reservations automatically to their sister hotels in these cities. I honestly can’t say enough about how great this hotel was!!"
