We spent 8 nights at the Villa, and had a relaxing time with our family. The rooms were huge and well appointed (We stayed in a triple room for a family of 4). The breakfast is 'all-you-can-eat', and it is deliciously prepared by Lan, the chef. There is an outdoor market nearby as well as a grocery/convenience store, but be prepared to pay 'foreigner' prices, because there are no price tags on anything. There are several good restaurants within walking distance; I highly recommend Red Dragon and Circle Cafe. Restaurant 328 is also okay. The highlight of our stay was the pool, and our boys spent several hours everyday, swimming and playing. Ms. Lien and Mr. Huy at the reception were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated, and all of the staff was especially kind to our children.
1) this place is popular, so it was always fully booked, so book early.
2) There is construction going on (slated for completion by the end of 2016) where they are increasing the size of the resort and adding another building and swimming area with a with a bar, so it may be noisy. Our room (301) faced the front street and had extensive soundproofing, so we heard nothing, but other rooms may hear it.
3) It is a long walk to town or to the beach, and young children will not be able to ride the free adult-sized bikes, plus may not be 'traffic aware' and so riding is not really an option for families with elementary school-aged children.
