You get what you pay for, and for £16 a night for two people with breakfast and a nice pool is great value. If we are being critical it is a dated hotel, the rooms are small, the air con is slow, en suite is poor. But the location is great, just a short walk to the old market.

it was ok
The pool area was quite nice but we found the rooms very dark and dingy. on our last day we had to leave at 6.30am for our flight. we asked if we could possibly get something to take away for breakfast but we were told no breakfast doesn't start till 7am. We travel a lot and that is the first time ever a hotel hasn't offered anything. We wouldn't stay again.

Luxurious for a backpacker but great anyway
Great stay - the pool is amazing and you are very centrally positioned but far enough out to completely relax. Hoi An is amazing for food and culture - and this place is cheap for a more luxurious treatment (for a backpacker). The staff are also very polite!

Excellent Place To Stay
This hotel is a real winner and would recomend anyone to stay there. The location is quite and so easy to get to all the old town sites. You can hire bikes directly from the hotel to explore and also if up for a long cycle head out to the beach and surrounding villages. The breakfast was a great selection and the staff so attentive I really can't recomend staying at this place in Hoi An enough. There is also a fantastic pool to cool off in.

This is a great hotel to stay at in hoi an for the price. Short walk to to old town. Has a fantastic pool area. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and couldn't do enough. You can hire bikes too from the hotel. I would defintaley recomend this hotel to anyone stay in hoi an.

Skip it - much better for the same price
Room was very small (superior twin), city view described was an empty lot with so much rubbish in it. Across the road there was a building site and if the curtains were not drawn completely (leaving room dark and needing a light) they could see right in. Restaurant was absolutely terrible! I ordered garlic bread from the menu and was given 2 pieces of dry old toast (I'm sure was left over from breakfast hours earlier) with big chunks of garlic inside. I asked the lady what it was, explaining it wasn't garlic bread. She laughed and told me it was a garlic sandwich. Breakfast was a dismal failure as well and we didn't even bother the second morning we were there. Truly, if it wasn't for the pool this place would have nothing to offer. There are plenty of nicer hotels to stay at in Hoi An that offer much more (and have a lovely pool)

Good hotel!
Very nice hotel located not far from city center. Beautiful pool and breakfast was delicious and filling. Staff are helpful and rooms are clean and have good wifi connection. Recommended!

Nice enough hotel for the price. Typical Viet architecture adorned with colorful lanterns. Nice pool surrounded by gardens. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast ordinary but plentiful. Conveniently situated across the road from the main bus depot and an easy walk to the old town. I suggest the upper floor rooms as the floors are very thin and JohnfromSaigon noise from rowdy tenants can be quite unnerving.

Cute hotel. Good location. Extremely helpful and nice staff. Our only issue was the comfort of the bed. May have been the most uncomfortable bed on our trip behind sleeper buses. But overall I would, and did, recomend to another traveler.

Room was clean, beds were rock hard, but have found that in most places in Vietnam. Bathroom was dark and dingy, water from the shower went everywhere as there was no door. Breakfast was ok. Pool was lovely.

Fantastic pool and clean spacious rooms
Hotel highlight is the wonderful swimming pool ... Well maintained with inviting crystal clear water. My first floor room overlooked the pool ... It was very spacious with a king size bed and decent size bathroom. Room was cleaned daily and smelt fine. Staff and the manager all spoke English and were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was ok but should vary more ... Staff were happy to note my suggestions for improving the eggs and omelette preparation so they were not overcooked and dry. Restaurant has inside dinning and also under cover outdoors, next to the pool. Location is quite central and walking distance to the Ancient Town.

An excellent hotel for the price. Friendly staff, big rooms with hardwood furniture. An infinity swimming pool surrounded by palms, flowers and bonsai trees, lit by Chinese lanterns at night. Breakfast in an open air restaurant by the pool. They have bicycles and mopeds for rental at cheap prices. I loved this place. One note, the beds are Vietnamese style (that is, hard mattresses). The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the old city (turn right, go straight). Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Bad room, unfriendly staff, but good pool
We were greated with disrespect and a snob attitude. next day the staf where overfriendly only because they wanted us to go to a surdent tailor in town. after that they were just back to bassic. Go here if you dont care about customer care. Breakfast is good, and the pool too. But our room where unclean, there were some fluids coming from under cabinet.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The restaurant is delicious, some of the best food we had in Hoi An, and breakfast is great, with an omelette and pancake station, made to order every morning. The pool is not huge but it's very nice and pleasant. You can also rent bikes from the hotel itself to go to the beach. Staff were great. We arrived at the hotel very early, before check in, and they let us stay at the pool while waiting for our room to be ready. Also, I had a little accident with the bike and they quicly called the doctor to come visit me in the hotel. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Lovely two night stay.
Well appointed hotel with large heavy wooden furniture and a spacious quiet room with view to delightful swimming area.Comfortable bed and pillows. Receptionist helped when pre booked taxi to airport did not show up which was much appreciated and rest of the staff were also accommodating and friendly. Not situated in the old quarter but only amounted to a few more minutes walking. We were out and about most of the time . Would appreciate better lighting especially at bedside. Aircon, TV and kettle worked well as did the computer in lobby which we used. Open shower with water damming up a bit. Very clean. Breakfast ample and tasty.

A Pleasant stay
Overall the hotel was excellent, the staff were pleasant friendly and very helpful. The pool was fantastic, I was traveling in a party of 3 we had booked 2 rooms both were great, not lush or plush but very comfortable, clean and the hotel location was fine. We all had a great time.

This hotel is a little gem, can do a lot worse out there. The nice friendly staff behind reception was good enough to let us checking very early around 8am as we had come off the overnight sleeper bus and was quite tired. As its out of peak, they had the room to give us, you may not do this if all the rooms are out in the peak. But good for us and better for there TA review. Also they didn't try to charge us for early check in like other hotels have tried. Very nice pool, set out very well and so nice after a sleeper bus. There's a good atmosphere here. All set out well and not cramped like other hotels. Rooms a good size, clean, bright and tidy. Breakfast was fairly average, not bad but not fantastic, did the job. A very good location, short walk, 10mins to the ancient town, 4km from 2 beaches. We rented a bike, $1.5 each, to go to the beach, was very busy that day on a Sunday afternoon so beware, was literally gridlocked with locals. And mind the mental roads, there crazy out here, but they wont hit you as its easier to avoid confrontation of a crash. Of note, don't use there laundry here as its over priced, $2 per KG. There's a laundry just 3 mins up the road for $1 per KG, go out to the road, turn right. The lady is very friendly to talk to. Also there's a shop just up from the laundry for water, snacks, pringles, ect. Would totally recommend, lovely stay.

Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. When we looked at our room at check in time it was used and dirty. Staff refused to do anything about it. We moved to a different hotel.

2nd time staying there. First time with friends, 2nd time with fiance. Nice pool, nice AC rooms, quiet surroundings. Service was a bit short and the food was a little bland. I chose to come here a 2nd time because the first time there were no problems with the hotel but next time I visit Hoi An I will try another hotel.

A Pleasant Surprise!
I landed late and needed a place to stay so chose this hotel pretty much based on price. I showed up expecting something of a SE Asian hovel ...and was thrilled to see a room with dark furniture, a high ceiling, a modern bathroom, and even a kettle with a tea set complete with Chinese-style loose-leaf tea. The internet was a little slow (typical for Vietnam, it seems) but it did the job. In the morning I flung back the curtains and was stunned to see a gorgeous blue pool right outside my window. Breakfast thrilled me: juice, tea & coffee, fruit, toast, some hot Vietnamese dishes like noodles or rice (changed by the day), along with custom-made omelettes and pancakes. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful doing things one would expect like organizing a car to the airport but also extending themselves in little helpful ways like translating something into Vietnamese for me. Even though I saw quite a few other people staying there at the time, I felt like they knew me. They are a seven-minute walk from the Old Town, so not right in the middle of things but close enough that it's simple to put one foot in front of the other and get there.

The hotel was ok. It is a bit outside of the actual "tourist" area but still walking distance. The pool is nice and breakfast is ok. WiFi worked fine. My only complaint is the information the hotel supplies. When I asked for an airport shuttle I was told the only options were private transport. After walking through old town, I discovered there is a shuttle service to the airport called Hoi An Express that was 1/3 the price the hotel wanted to charge me to set up a taxi. I would not trust the hotel for accurate information or to give you the best options

Having spent 3 nights at this hotel,i can thoroughly recommend it as being a good value, budget accomodation. It also has the advantage,of a cooling swimming pool. The breakfast also has something for everyone,and is served by friendly staff.

Old, excellent arquitecture, with updated bathrooms, less than a km from the ancient city around 4 km from the seaside. Good breakfast (local food based). Clean allover. Nice swiming pool. Very poor foreing language in most of the staff. We extended our stay several times, and plan to return after a 2 days tour.

The place is nice and the swimming pool was great, but the service is awful, the receptionists were absolutely rude they didn't want to help you and they treated you like they were doing you a favour. Breakfast was ok, the people in the kitchen were lovely. If you are looking for a hotel to just spend the night and leave the next morning this is your hotel if you want to rest a little and go around a visit the town then keep looking.

Would stay here again for the pool, especially after a long day out and the rooms were nice too. About a 10 minute walk in to the old town and a lovely 4km bike ride to a gorgeous beach (an Nang, I think the name was).

The quality of the hotel was overall pleasant. The pool was especially nice! Great way to cool down in the afternoon. Air con worked well in the room which was large and comfortable. "Daily Housekeeping" consisted of making the bed and fresh towels, that's about it (don't expect sheets to be changed). The staff barely cracked a smile. DO NOT book anything through them or take recommendations. We did not do this and we are happy we did not. Don't even bother buying a water because they "don't have enough change" at the front desk. The staff didn't make or break our stay at all, they were just the disappointing factor after staying at several budget options throughout Vietnam with lovely staff. Overall, a good budget spot for backpackers.
