Really close to old town and bike usage was great! Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. We didn’t have any hot water during our trip in our room and workout area is a treadmill and bike on fake grass in a small room. Really liked how close it is to the action.

Very nice 2 br family suite. To be clear, our family suite was two large adjoining rooms with a queen plus full bed in each room. In retrospect, we could have easily had our family of 2 adults, 2 kids in one of these rooms, so take this in consideration when booking. Like-new rooms/beds here, and large balconies. The staff is great, very friendly and accommodating, we were greeted with fresh juice while we checked in and all requests were quickly granted. Two pools, and the included breakfast buffet was really quite good with made to order eggs, pho, and a variety of local and western-style options. The location was fine, a bit out of the center of Hoi An. Definitely walkable but expect about 20 minutes to get to the main area. Transport via Grab very easy and affordable though.

This hotel was above our expectations considering the price per night at aus$35 per night. The room was huge with a balcony. It had a king bed and a king single. The room was very clean. The property had two pools. The included breakfast was nice. It was in easy walkinng distance to town and had complimentary bicycles for exploring. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definateky stay again. L

We loved everything about this property. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much for them. The lovely gentleman who helped with bags etc was amazing also. The rooms were spacious and suited our short stay. My granddaughter loved the pool and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to our friends. HoiAn is our favourite destination in Vietnam. Thanks again to the wonderful workers at the Banana Garden Villa.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here and feel the hotel is very good value for what you spend. That being said, we did find that the photos of the hotel are a bit misleading. Cons: there was water damage and mold, in the bathroom and into the bedroom (we travelled with two other couples who had the same in their rooms) and many of the pool loungers are ripped. Our keycard wasn’t working properly and we had to wait a few minutes while the door beeped every time we tried to get into our room, other rooms didn’t have this issue, and the hotel was aware of this and did get it fixed on our last day. Our friends all had inconsistent hot water throughout the stay as well. Pros: the rooms are large and spacious, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel had bikes that we could borrow, which was a lot of fun and super convenient and the breakfast had a good spread of options and really yummy banana pancakes. The hotel was also great with helping us to organize tours and transport

There was transport from the airport towards the hotel even though we were arriving late. The room is big and clean. The area itself is relatively quiet and in a 15min walk you are in the ancient town. Good location and very friendly and helpful staff.

Our 5 night stay here was enjoyable. The property is really good value for money. All the staff were very helpful, even arranging laundry by the kg and tours for us. Breakfast had great selection with an on demand egg/pancake bar. Old quarter was about a 20 min walk along the river which felt safe to walk along even after 9 or 10 pm. You can start to see the wear and tear of the building (our AC was set to 16 but the room never really got below 22-24), but aside from that, would stay again!

Nice hotel, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, hot water, and amenities in case you forgot something. Bikes are available to use but could use a bit of maintenance nothing serious yet though. Enjoyed my stay.

Terrific stay at the Banana Garden! Staff is friendly and generous about breakfast and pool hours. It was easy to get laundry done and they gave me info about the area in English. I would definitely stay here again! Please note that the location is a 15 minute walk from the interesting part of town. Not a problem for me and they give you free bikes to use during your stay.

Such an amazing stay at Banana Garden. Upon entering we felt right at home being greeted with some fresh juice. The room was spacious and comfortable. Every day they cleaned and supplied water. The breakfast was amazing - so many choices and a great omelette station. Great location close enough to walk to the tourist area but far enough away to be quiet. Overall exceptional value.

The hotel provided us two spacious adjoining rooms, which was perfect for our group of 5. Our family of four traveled with my mother. This hotel offered one of the best breakfast buffets, with local dishes as well as food for Westerners. We only needed two meals a day, because the breakfasts was so hearty. This is a comfortable and family-friendly hotel.

The property is very well located, close to Hoi An downtown and main attractions. What I appreciated most was the staff's extreme kindness and helpfulness. We forgot our wintercoats in the room after checkout, and they helped us to get them back by giving them to a driver we hired, and brought them back to another city (where we were after Hoi An). One day we missed breafast as we visited a temple, and the staff gave us pancakes and coffee even outside the allocated time. I had a truly great experience at this hotel, the staff is amazing.

Even though this hotel was over a km into the heart of Hoi-An, I liked it, because it afforded the opportunity for some much needed exercise. The limited dinning issues had more to do with variety of restaurants in the general vicinity. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was outstanding.

Excellent place to stay in Hoi An. Rooms were spacious and clean with a nice balcony overlooking one of the two pools. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast served in the morning was wonderful. A buffet with everything you could want and also eggs, banana pancakes or soup made to order. There were lots of restaurants steps away from the hotel. Pick up from airport and ride to our next hotel was arranged by front desk staff as well as our tours that we took. We woujd stay there again if we came back to Hoi An.

Whilst staff were nice, property is not well maintained. Dirty common areas, dead flies in window ledges and small fruit flies in restaurant. The hot water system is scolding hot. We had to have cold showers as could never get water temp right. Air conditioner leaked water. I would not recommend this place nor will I ever be coming back.

We loved our time here. They organised laundry for us, free bike rental, advice on tours, free breakfast (banana pancake is epic), free bottled water daily, and they also invited us to join for a family meal with them on our last night which was lovely. Family run hotel by people who care about their customers. 15/20 min walk to old town, or a £1 grab. Nice spacious room, good shower, balcony, nice pools. They went above and beyond for us. Great value. Will definitely stay again if back in Hoi An. Thanks!

Cannot recommend highly enough. Far enough from the tourist action to be peaceful and relaxing, but just a short walk away from all the shopping and tailors and restaurants. Pools were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful staff.
