A little of attention to detail to make this cottage feel like it still belongs to the 19th century, but full of luxurious like a big spa bath, coffee machine, hidden away tv, super luxurious bed and bedding, reasonably priced drinks in the fridge, and a beautiful spots out front and to the rear to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the quiet surroundings. We'd definitely stay here again!

The check in instructions are easy to follow. The interior is exquisite and the room is strikingly defined according to the background of the property. The breakfast area is very warm and inviting with bright sunlight coming through, I really enjoyed my last breakfast in here.

We were very impressed with this beautiful property. Vivienne and her team were very attentive during our stay. The rooms are large and opulent, beautifully furnished, our bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet setting. The garden was stunning. Make sure to include breakfast, it was delicious and Vivienne makes a fantastic coffee!

The house will delight many customers. It is heavy on charm, period setting and the place abounds with reminders of Hobart's past. The garden and breakfast were spectacular, the view from the verandah stunning, and the parking worked pretty well (after issues with the new gate were sorted). But there's a price to pay, the trade off between charm and personality, and efficiency. The room was relatively small and we felt it. It was cluttered with knick-knacks, there was nowhere to put things, no place for bags. To change the setting on the heating I had to move a side table, crawl on the floor with a torch on my phone. There were 2 air-conditioning units immediately under the window and the noise was intrusive. Corinda obviously delighted many guests, from the comments in the guest book. I guess it depends what you value....

One of our most superb stays anywhere in the world
This exceptionally renovated old estate home has some of the most beautifully appointed rooms - along with an amazing bed, fantastic bathtub and really lovely breakfast. Our host Julian was most helpful and we appreciated some great advice on local sites. After 25+ years of coming to Hobart we finally found accomodation that makes our visit super special. A lovely residential neighbourhood just a footbridge away from the CBD and harbour area. Also an easy drive to MONA and near the bridge for easy access to the airport - yet a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. The Corinda exceeded all our expectations and we're really looking forward to returning to Hobart soon.

Look no further!
My wife and i stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved everything about Corinda! Julian is an amazing host and caretaker and his wife is delightful and makes the best homemade salsa! Breakfast at the residence is amazing. If you appreciate history and luxury, look no further!

Amazing stay!
What an amazing place to stay! Beautiful historic house, very tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Great location as well, walking distance to the city. We stayed in Servant's corner - very cosy house with a separate bedroom upstairs, kitchen, dining room with a fireplace and a modern bathtub. Loved it! Special thank you for a tasty breakfast. Everything was local produce, fresh an tasty, and the bacon was cooked to perfection! Next time we'll stay longer.

This is truly a fantastic, relaxed place to stay. Beautiful old world comfort in a lovely, picturesque part of Hobart. It would be a shame for you to come to Hobart and miss this place.

Amazing guesthouse. Absolutely stunning rooms. Huge king bed. Spotless. Wish I could have stayed for the week but they were booked out. Definitely recommend a stay if you’re in Hobart. The property is an absolute gem. The breakfast was fresh from the garden and delicious. The staff friendly. I couldn’t fault it at all. A 5 star property well worth the money. Will definitely revisit.

A Heavenly Oasis
It was a short stay; just an overnight in Hobart. This location however is a beautiful and magical place. So lovely and comfortable. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

The only place to stay in Hobart
Julian has created an oasis of Victorian elegance in the main house and incredible rustic charm in the Servant’s quarters (where I stayed) and the Coach house. The location is quiet, close to the city, the waterside conference facilities and the major attractions. There is easy access on and off the main highways. Check-in was simple and Julian was the consummate communicator texting me all the details for my late arrival in a clear and concise message. Sadly I missed out on the breakfasts but for a small added fee these sounded (and smelled) awesome. A delightful experience which provided me with the calmness and independence I needed for my stay in Hobart. No lobbies, cramped rooms or basement car parks. Why would you come to Hobart for the charm elegance and stay anywhere less awesome than the Corinda collection.

From the moment we arrived our breath was taken away. Chaxi and Julian are both so generous and considerate. It was an honour to stay in their magnificent property. I would describe The Corinda Collection as a boutique hotel with a fantastic breakfast! Easily the best breakfast that we have experienced in high end hotels. Aside from the aesthetics of the property being uniquely beautiful, the privacy and quiet surrounds made for an amazing stay. We are looking forward to coming back. There is not a thing that we can think of that could be improved. It was perfect.

Absolutely stunning property with old world charm. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here with my wife and two children, and highly recommend it. Short walk down the hill to the city and wharf, and a $7 Uber back up the hill if you can't be bothered walking back, great. If I was to be a little picky, the provided bedding for the +2 in the Servants Quarters is only a sofa bed and a little too cozy. And the kitchen possibly isn't as well equipped as it should be with pots/pans and basic condiments. But otherwise, fantastic.

This is a beautiful Accomodation in every way the Host are Beautiful People and nothing was a bother to them. The room cosy bed comfortable, shower wonderful and the Breakfast's best ever. We stayed in the Gardener’s Cottage. It is charming but the stairs are a little difficult to navigate, especially given they are not adequately lit at night. Our main disappointment was that we never met anyone during our stay. It was more like an Airbnb experience (key in lock safe etc) and all communication was via text. For a bed and breakfast establishment of this quality (and price) this was a little remiss of our hosts in our opinion.

Gorgeous property with wonderful informative hosts . Unfortunately we did not meet our hosts during the stay however from the moment we booked until the moment we left Corinda the communication was fantastic. The property itself is very well maintained with beautiful antique finishes . The garden room had a view out towards the well manicured gardens . The included breakfast was delicious and fresh. Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hobart .
