I stayed in the 'French Suite' it's attached to one of the other cottages and even though it was comfortable the fact was I could hear everything that was going on in the other cottage, even the conversation that was happening til very late in the evening...the lounge area had a door that went through to the office so once again it was noisy with other people coming in and out ...also the owners private dwelling must have a bathroom above the lounge area as I could hear someone having a shower...I suggest if you're going to stay at Mulberry Cottages ask for the Valley View Cottage as it's a separate cottage away from the others.

glad that you found the French Suite to be comfortable and yes the walking distance to our beautiful town is very convenient,
Sorry to hear that you experienced extreme noise from the adjoining cottage however if we were made aware of this we would have had the opportunity to address the situation as guests comfort is top priority to us.
We offer the lounge area for guests to relax in with a recliner chair and a comfy lounge where guests have met each other played cards, crib etc... It offers a large tv and dvd's or just to relax and read, this is also where i have manicured guests nails with hand massage.
This area is 'obviously' in the main house and 'obviously' next to reception and gift shop where guests are welcome to enter and i'm sorry you did not find this area satisfactory
You left me a personal note as you did not want to write anything negative in the guest review book, i appreciated your note and i followed through with a phone call to apologize to you and was hoping to invite you back after our major renovations are completed but not sure that you would still be happy and as much as we try we know we cannot please all guests.
After speaking to you it was very reassuring to know that your husband had a good nights sleep!
