Just like home.

Posted 14-Feb-2017
Pros: Didn't feel like 'accommodation' but more like staying in a real home.
Cons: I can't think of a thing to improve.
Location: Easy walking distance to the main street of Richmond. Historic town, quiet and relaxing.
We stayed in the Valley View Cottage. Beautifully appointed, light & airy, plenty of room and all requirements catered for. Peaceful and quiet & it's an easy walk into the main street of Richmond.

Comfortable accommodation in heart of Richmond

Posted 19-Nov-2016 on Wotif
Pros: Comfort and convenience
We spent the last night of our Tasmanian holiday at Mulberry Cottage. It was a great way to finish our trip. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with all amenities. It is within walking distance of the historic structures and the host Maureen was very hospitable and welcoming. We felt very comfortable here and can highly recommend it.

Cosy and comfortable

Lovely little cottage with view over a field and mountains. Very cosy and comfortable. Was warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and in the morning a breakfast basket was timely delivered. Would not hesitate to go back.

Perfect way to end our Tasmanian holiday

Posted 10-Nov-2016 on Wotif
Pros: Everything
Location: A lovely town but most of the antique and shops are overpriced. Dinner at the pub which was delicious and well priced. Czegs cafe was excellent.
We loved our overnight stay at Mulberry Cottage. It capped off our wonderful Tasmanian holiday. The room was beautifully furnished and the king size four poster bed was so very comfortable. The owners are a really lovely couple - very welcoming. Our complimentary glass of wine was a very nice touch. We loved the decor and the surroundings. We will be back.

Pros: Very welcoming staff, clean and comfortable
Location: A short walk from the centre of Richmond. Craft shops, hotel with food food.
We booked at short notice not knowing anything about Mullberry Cottage. We were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay very much. We will be back some time and will certainly recommend to friends.

Central in Richmond township

Posted 04-Oct-2016 on Wotif
Pros: I liked the close proximity to the township.
Cons: The hotel owners are doing some rebuilding and improvements after purchasing the hotel a short time ago. This will be fabulous when completed.
This accommodation was within a few minutes of the Richmond township and easy to find. The staff were friendly and the brekky basket was absolutely scrumptious. While in the area, we sampled some of the local produce, purchased a few souvenirs, and saw the famous Richmond bridge. We also visited the Old Richmond Gaol.

Our intention was to only stay one night, but ended up staying two. Lovely hosts, wine on arrival a lovely touch. Cosy, comfortable little cottage.
