Pros: Walking distance to the historic main street of Richmond and had an amazing meal at the Hotel.
Cons: Do not change a thing.
Location: 15 minute car drive from Hobart and close proximity to Port Arthur. We visited the Historic Richmond Goal while we were there, which was a 10 min walk
What a find! A peaceful scenic cottage we stayed in which was clean had all and more than was expected for the weary traveller. Truly a place to stay if you really need to just get away and chill from the hustle and bustle.

Great hotel, questionable booking!

Posted 19-Aug-2015 on Hotels
It was a very last minute booking, our host was amazing! She opened up for us at midnight after our flight got cancelled. If only Jetstar had such amazing service! The room was everything we needed and more. Very comfortable, perfect for a romantic weekend away. Hotels.com didn't mention prior to booking that checkin closes at 9pm and I didn't really expect to wake someone up once I booked to see if they could still take me! Hotel Amazing Hotels.com questionable! Would I stay here again ... YES. Would I book through hotels.com again .... not so sure!

Adorable cottage stay

Posted 15-Apr-2015 on Wotif
It was a lovely restored cottage, quite comfortable with everything needed and a nice continental breakfast provided. We were allowed to book 2adults and 2 kids which should not have been possible but the owner kindly adjusted our sleeping with an extra mattress. It was fine for the night. Close to the town center and historic bridge.

Very nice place to stay.

Pros: The hostess, the rooms, the locality and the ease of access to the Tasman Peninsula, Hobart and the Airport.
Cons: Air conditioning and/or ceiling fan in bedroom.
Location: Richmond Tasmania. Colonial era sight seeing, Tasman Peninsula and Hobart.
Miriam the owner is a very pleasant hostess. Warm, friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local area and the Tasman Peninsula. When we informed Miriam we were having trouble with the wi-fi internet in our room, she quickly organised an extension router to allow us better access to the 'net'. The bedroom, sitting room and the bathroom / toilet was scrupulously clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Also, we took the option of having our Continental Breakfast in our rooms which allowed us our privacy and our own time to eat etc. Word of warning though, Miriam does not allow smoking on the grounds of her B&B which suited me fine - no butts or stale smoke.
