Old and tatty, and your property may go missing!

First impression: Okay. There is a doorman at your service and it does not look too bad.
Second look: Bad. Once I stepped into the room, there was a musty odour in the air. Only way to get rid of it is to open the windows for a while and max out the air-con. Bathroom is completely outdated. Again, there is a musty odour. Shower head is mouldy and the bathtub edges have lots of black dots. The bathrobe they provided also had a black dot on it? Mould?
Worst of all, I realised that someone entered my room without my permission. I did not stay in the room on the last day, before I left I have put "Do not disturb" sign at the door. When I came back to the room the next morning I realised that the safe in the room has been opened.
I immediately called the receptionist but she seemed not know what to do. Luckily I already removed most of my belongings form the room the night and nothing is lost. When I went down to check-out I asked how could such thing have happened. Their reply to me was that there was a "foreign customer" claimed he left something in the room but he is unsure which room he stayed at. The housekeeper then let him into my room and have a look.
I have been staying in many hotels all over the world and this is the first time I heard such a ridiculous explanation. What if that guy was a crook and intended to drug my drinks in the minibar, steal my property or to leave me some "special package" and I would be doomed!
My advice: Walk away and choose another hotel.

First of all, I am deeply sorry for such bad things happened to you during your stay in our hotel.
I am about to cry reading your comments. Thank you for your constructive comments. As per our whole team's efforts to maintain and enhance the service quality, I really shocked and felt short of this.
Sorry again. I am sure we must must have many things to act right away.
My hope is that our hotel still has the opportunities to welcome you back, and I do have chance to meet you face to face to discuss many things about the property, I believe.
