Nice house in a secluded area. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted by the proprietors and shown to my room. A decent sized single room facing the front of the property. Everything was very neat and tidy though a bit dusty. Facilities were basic, a kettle to make tea/coffee and a small tv. Big wardrobe that had some of their own clothes in it. Adjacent bathroom just down the hall. Equally as clean and tidy with some products left in their (for the family I presume). For my taste the bed wasn't that comfy, I think it was the thin pillows that were the problem.
Easy to come and go but being in someones house you obviously don't have the freedom of a more impersonal hotel.
Finally I woke to a "full English breakfast" being cooked for me which is always exciting but this however was perhaps the only small negative from my stay, I would probably call it a quarter English, 1 small slice of bacon, 1 sausage an egg and some mushrooms (tomato was offered as well) accompanied by 2 small pieces of white toast and a small glass of juice. Though included in the price of the room I did find the food dissapointing, perhaps for a small child its sufficient but for a male adult it barely scratched the surface. Thankfully a cereal basket was also on offer.
Overall a very pleasant stay with delightful hosts but some small room for improvement.
