Average hotel. I would say that you are paying for what you get. It is at the cheaper end and that is what the facilities are. No tea/coffee making equipment in the room, no proper safe, or fridge, basically it is 10-20 years out of date. No modern facilities you expect in most hotels. They seemed very short staffed. It was clean but basic. Could be a wonderful hotel if up dated.

Website and even email sent by Hotel said dining would be open Sunday evening but it sounds like that hasn’t been true for a while. We found a lovely place for dinner so it worked out but was frustrating when we‘d taken the time to double check.

No bed for our 8 year old daughter
We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and were checked in promptly. When we got to our room we discovered the additional bed requested for our daughter (to make it into a family room) was not in the room. I went to speak to reception and was told that as housekeeping had left for the day there was nothing that could be done. I was concerned there was nowhere for my daughter to sleep and raised this concern with the receptionist only to be told it was my problem! As it was late we had no choice but to stay and all sleep in the one bed. We left promptly the next morning cutting short our 5 night stay.

A room with a rat
A very old hotel, the impression the parking gives is like you are going back to 1800. Our room had a big rat that we had to chase to cut the disturbing sound it caused.

OK stay
One night, passing in the area. The good: The hotel is nice and appears to be directed to businessmen. The surrounding is rural and very peaceful, even though it is just a few minutes drive from the heart of Stuttgart. The down sides: - some of the towels were stained, - loud noises of other guests in the corridor at 4am woke us up, - the coffee/tea spot in the room had a tiny sign mentioning that you will be billed extra for drinking the hot beverages (can't they supply complimentary coffee like other 4 star hotels?)

Comfortable hotel that backs up to the woods for a quiet feel, though close enough to the major roads to get to the airport or downtown quickly. Relatively inexpensive breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and very accommodating. We booked this hotel en route from the UK to Italy and this was a stopover when we decided we needed to stop for the room. We booked and were at the hotel within about half an hour but I’ll booking had not come through. The receptionist was very helpful and explained that because of the lack of housekeeping as it was 21:30 the family room that we had bought would not be able to be made up. However she did give us a second room at no additional cost which we were happy with.

服务员还是很nice的，我家小朋友的背包忘记在大厅的沙发上了，人家免费帮忙邮了一次去慕尼黑的一家酒店，我们最后一站要住的地方，结果没收到，我们就要飞回加拿大了，然后书包就被退回这个酒店了。然后酒店又给我们打电话，问怎么没收到，然后又让酒店的人寄到我法兰克福的朋友家里，然后朋友再转寄给我们。总之很谢谢这家酒店的工作人员！

The staff are really professional. The only downside, and of course a very important one, was that they do not have AC in their rooms!!! They provide you with fan, though (upon request). However, even when I asked for, they told me they ran out of it!!! Then I became sort of surprised and told them that I was told I would get one!!! The night staff (as everywhere else) are different type of people; sort of unprofessional. The restaurant guys were really sweet and the reciptionist, especially the one who checked me in and out were really great. One of them could be a little bit unprofessional though.

Comfortable stay with family
We enjoyed stay. It was close to family we were visiting. We plan to stay on return trip. While checking in the Lobby was under construction, the mirrored ceiling was being demolished. It seemed like a hazard and a bit chaotic. Otherwise the hotel itself is clean and dated, the rooms are more modern and updated.

Very very small room, small like a prison cell, I am 6’3” and could almost touch wall to wall ( room 613) bathroom was tiny as well and typical for European hotels, no A/C and it was HOT. Front desk and dining were nice people and good food but location was a bit out of the way

Quick business stay
Room was very nice, spacious, and clean. Very quick stay so didn't get to experience the restaurant but check in and staff were very nice and friendly. No air conditioning so room was warm but sounds of nature were nice with open window.

We enjoyed our stay as well as the breakfast. The staff was professional and very friendly. We do wish we'd not been held up by bad weather so that we could have arrived at a more reasonable hour, but the staff was extremely accommodating and provided us with a late check-out which helped us catch up on some much needed sleep. Thank you!

Difficult getting in garage, you have to check in first and hey a physical key but there is no where to park to check in. They need a better system

Nice hotel in the woods
Was travelling on business and checked in with my 2 other colleagues. We arrived 3 hours before official check in time but were offered our rooms in no time at all and with no fuss. The service was great at the reception Managers and colleagues. The hotel is located not far from Stuttgart town centre in a wooded area which is great for a peaceful rest. Plenty fresh air, and located in an area of natural beauty. The location is ideal for walks. The health club is very well equipped and kept. the only thing missing is a swimming pool its got a good spa area. could also do with a jacuzzi. The cons of this hotel are: No bath robes, no slippers, smoking area at the front of the hotel is not secluded enough to keep the smell from giving bad odour in the reception and entrance areas. Its an out of town location and therefore a car would be most beneficial to fully enjoy. i am sure there are taxis. i am definitely going back for a chill out, just to relax and get total time out!

if you like nowhere, this is it
This is a conference center resort, not a hotel. Not close to Stuttgart as Fodors claims. Staff superb always willing to help., . Great breakfast. Really lovely having people stand outside at a table smoking as you drive up. Front steps in foyer broken so really need to watch your step. if using the ramp for wheeled luggage it was always blocked by rolling racks. Physicality of place in serious need of updating. About a 15-30 minute drive to Stuttgart depending on traffic or it is a combo of busses and trains.

Dated and yet quite expensive
Whilst the first look is promising, the rooms are a bit tattered. Shower was leaking and the decoration in general good do with repair or replacement. Prices in bar are at the high end and the restaurant promises more than they can actually deliver. Average quality food. This come still at an ambitious and quite high price, which does not relate to the quality of overall service. The staff is very nice and customer friendly and they deserve a better product to deliver.

The food choices were very slim and the breakfast choices were just standard for 10 euro per person. The bed was uncomfortable thank goodness it was only 3 nights.

Go out of your way to stay here. It's worth it.
This place was fantastic. Plenty of amenities to include Sauna, steamroom, workout room and a really good Restaurant. It is just on the edge of the forest and it was set in a beatiful Location. It is worth being a Little bit away from the Train Station. I would recommend going out of your way to stay here.
