"Property was exactly as described and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here. Angie was a great host and responded to any questions in a timely manner. The neighborhood was cute and quiet and there is a wonderful market just around the corner with many options one might need in a pinch. Coffee, sandwiches, soups and homemade salads were all excellent. The property was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Kitchens were well stocked with very good cooking equipment, dishes and utensils. Looking forward to staying here again. Would definitely recommend!"

"We had a family weekend vacation with 11 of us. It was adequate but would not have wanted to add more people. The outside of the property was never shown. We were surprized at the area it was in and the look of the outside of the house. We never had any trouble. The lawn never got mowed around it, so it was about 7-8 inches of grass to walk through by parking area. The inside was very clean and presentable. There were some cosmetic issues--- tiles on kitchen floor were loose and stuck to bare feet. There was not enough silverware knives to go with 11 people. The bathroom on the main floor was very small so the shower was hard to use. There were a ton of flies in the house due to no screens, even though we never opened any. The steps going into the house were very steep and made it hard for a person with some mobility issues to get in. One of the bathrooms on the second floor had only a bathtub, which was not used for our group. It would have been better to have another shower. These are all issues that go with an old house that has been updated. They were not terrible things-- but things that affected our stay. However, we still had a good time."

"The host was really forthcoming and helpful throughout our stay.We've made some recommendations for future guests that included:1. highlight the excellent security door-locking system. It is unique to us and we travel extensively nationally and worldwide2. highlight the walking and running routes proximate to the property. In two blocks you are in a very safe and beautiful Grosse Pointe neighborhood that is flat and low traffic. 3. adding a safe to the property would provide additional peace of mind4. shopping and really nice restaurants are less than 10 minutes away by car in the Grosse Pointe village.This is an excellent VRBO. The upstairs unit requires a narrow staircase, but if you're reasonable in good shape, it matters little. My wife preferred the upstairs for the extra quiet.The driveway is very dated and is a small detraction from the property. I'd invest in fixing that up and adding a privacy fence between the property on the right to replace the old and bent chain link fence. Of course, it's easy to suggest how someone can spend another person's money!We'd definitely stay there again."

"Great condo! We stayed for 5 nights while spending time with family in Grosse Pointe. The host responded quickly to questions, the space is very clean and nicely decorated, great location and we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again!"

"Sarah provided exceptional hospitality, going out of her way to show us the amenities. Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. Breakfast at Warda was “next level” and we appreciated having the vouchers for breakfast each day. Would recommend ALEO to anyone and would stay there again."
