The property is not updated, it is dirty, run down, with old dirty furniture and we had to spend the first 24 hours of our seven day vacation going back and forth with VACASA to get into another property. That property was half the cost of this property and we have yet to be compensated for the difference. VACASA continues to ignore emails. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I cannot emphasize enough what a dump this place is and how upsetting the experience was. No apologies for the experience, except from a very nice man, Robert, from relocation services who assisted us in getting into our new place on the second day. The first night we had to clean and wash sheets to make it acceptable enough to stay. We have never had an experience like this is and have used these services on HH and outer banks for years. Cobwebs and spiders in the corners, peeling and chipped ceilings, dust caked on the doors and walls, dirty bathroom floors, hazardous items left on the back porch. I could go on but I hope you get the picture. We planned to stay for 2 1/2 weeks but had to move to another property after we lost hot water. The management company handled this situation very professionally. The villa could use some updates, but worked for us. There is a grill which is a plus and the area is nice. There are some essentials that are missing, like hot pads, can opener and a few other items if you plan to eat in a lot.
