BED & BATH This condo sleeps seven guests between the two bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The primary suite has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, and the adjacent bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES Sip morning coffee on your fully fenced patio, where an umbrella-shaded table seats four. Sizzle steaks and veggies on the gas grill and enjoy alfresco meals. Find an array of community amenities close at hand, including six unheated year-round pools and several tennis courts. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-unit washer/dryer. Unassigned outdoor parking is available in the adjacent lot for up to two vehicles. Your reservation total includes the fee for two vehicles for up to two nights' stay (3-7 nights is $50; 8-14 nights is $80). This ground-floor unit is accessed via one step at the entryway. The Dunes Buggy is available seasonally from the end of March to the beginning of September at no charge and will transport you to and from locations in Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, Shelter Cove, and the beach! THE LOCATION Located in Palmetto Dunes, Queens Grant offers enviable walkability to the best of the resort, including on-site dining, shopping, and entertainment. Breakfast, lunch, and other essentials are a 5-minute walk away at the Palmetto Dunes General Store. Spend sunny days on miles of gorgeous beach. The beach and The Dunes House restaurant are less than a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. Explore the 11-mile lagoon system on property -- canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards are available for rent. We loved the location!! Each morning we’d walk to the General Store. What an easy walk! The pool area was beautiful…but it took us 3 days to find it! A sign would help. Each day we drove to the beach area at the Dunes house and went early to always get a parking place. What a wonderful vacation. The managers stopped by right after we arrived to make sure all was ok. We have stayed in the Queens Grant community before and would definitely book this condo again. The master bed was comfy, there was a new coffee maker that had both k-cup and full carafe options! We drove over to the Dunes house to go to the beach because of all the gear we had but it’s an easy bike ride away. (Thanks to the off season parking was easy, it can be hard in prime season though). Hilton Head is one of our favorite places, we’ve been many times, and I would definitely book this unit again. ##### Colleen H. Overall, this condo is a fine place to stay. It’s centrally located and has everything you need for a short stay. It’s nice to have two bathrooms, and the parking is very close by. Our only complaint was that the property is not very well kept. The unit was fairly grubby; walls, baseboards etc are in need of a good scrubbing, blinds broken, ceilings/paint patched badly. It seems as though it’s only surface cleaned between guests. The mattresses in the one room are older and not very comfortable. Only 1 pillow per person on each bed. Several lightbulbs burnt out. Limited & uncomfortable seating options (patio furniture especially), although there’s enough to do in the area that you don’t really need to be in the unit much. This is my second time staying in this property. Well equipped and a great location. The only issue we had this time was on the last day with a leaking roof. When it could not be taken care of quickly, they offered to move us. This happened way too late at night. Thankfully the company reimbursed us for our lost reservations on the last night. I really appreciated their offer to compensate us for the trouble. Would not hesitate to stay again. ##### Mary B. Passes or fees are required to go to different areas of the island. Towels had holes in them, basic supplies (cooling oil, salt & pepper) were not at the property, access code was 10+ numbers so no one could ever remember how to get inside. Refrigerator went out and we lost our food and the rental company would not pay for the lose. (VACASA). Would have been nice to have some beach towels, etc. Would not recommend. ##### David B. Terrible check in process. Multiple confusing instructions by text and email. I simply saw the door code and went to the unit. Should be that simple. Arrived after hours and was told by security I needed a pass. From where? They didn't know? Called VRBO. No help. Verified my name and unit with security then waited 15 min for some pass to arrive. Nothing. Went on to my unit (tomorrow is another day), only to have security SWAT unit (really) come bang on my door after hours demanding I get a parking pass (from somewhere), NOW! What BS. Daily construction on my "private" BBQ patio. BBQ corroded and useless. Light bulbs missing. TV hassles. Broken kitchen tools. Hair drier totally smashed. No jamb plate on door. Ripped holes in coffee filter. Stains on furniture. Typical VRBO care, prep. and support. Zero. ##### Bevo R. It was truly a home away from home. The layout was great. The condo was very clean. The beds were all very comfortable. It was only a 7 minute walk to the beach, great location for us since we didn’t rent bikes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have ever needed. The grounds were well kept. We enjoyed the pool close to the condo almost every day. We will definitely book this same condo again when we come back to visit. Thank you for letting us use your condo! ##### Jodi C. We love to play play pickleball, so that was nice. The unit itself was very clean and nice, with a private back patio included (although you can hear the neighbors behind you pretty good; but...can't be helped.
