Just steps from your private entrance is the St. Andrews pool area (open April through September) complete with plenty of seating, shade, sun, and views of the nearby lagoon and wildlife. From this centrally located condo, enjoy strolls and bike rides through lush landscapes, all within a mile of white sandy beaches, 3 championship golf courses, the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center, a beachfront bar and restaurant at the Dunes House, and world-class shops and restaurants at the Shelter Cove Marina. The free Dunes Buggy shuttle service also is available in the summer season. We loved the location, it was close to everything and the conference that I attended. Very pet friendly place. Definitely need a new washer and dryer, work on the master bathroom, shower and sink, and needs curtains in the living room for privacy at night. This was our first trip taking our Yorkie and it was absolutely perfect him and our family of five. It’s clean and provides plenty of space. The only “problem” we found was the master bathroom tub and sink doesn’t drain well and the mattress in the master wasn’t the most comfortable. We loved our stay here. It was very nice. Pros: It was a very nice community. Safe area with constant security patrols. Books and beach tent and dish soap were nice to have. Short walk to pool Dog friendly However a few things I would make note of/wish were different for the price. 1\. The kitchen is very tiny. You can not have more than one person at a time and it made it hard to cook and work around opening the fridge. It was well stocked though. 2\. You have to use the shuttle within the resort or drive 3 mins and park to access the beach. And parking is very limited. Otherwise, you can drive 9 minutes to the nearest beach and walk a few blocks from public parking. 3\. The bed and pillows in the master are super uncomfortable. 4\. While I’m glad it was dog friendly stay, There was dog hair on the couch when we arrived. I wish they had washed the couch cover in between. 5\. This isn’t ground level. We thought it was. But it’s an easy walk down for fur baby to go potty. 6\. Nice to have a washer and dryer but the pods given were all thrown in one bag with the dishwasher ones and we didn’t know which to use so didnt use the washer and dryer to be safe. 7\. You must have a parking pass to park on the property, or risk being towed. No one told us that and we were almost towed the first night. We went to two locations in Palmetto Dunes to get a pass and finally found out that we needed to go to Vacasa’s main office down the road to get the pass.
