The only thing good were the comfortable beds.

Posted 06-Dec-2015
Pros: Comfortable beds. Central location. Bhagavad Gita.
Cons: Replace that bathroom door! Get a quality coffee maker. Be generous with the bathroom amenities.
Location: Easy access to I-85 and I-40.
Door to bathroom was significantly damaged, dirty and poorly repaired. It looks like someone has to be rescued from the bathroom or there was a large dog that damaged it. Missing faceplate on electrical outlet under side table; hazardous. Dirty office chair. Marks on the walls. No coffee makers in rooms (but listing did not indicate such). Lobby coffee maker was broken and even when repaired, produced putrid coffee. (Bring your own coffee maker if you are a coffee lover.) Room had local visitor's guide, but it was over-used (page corners bent, etc.), lobby staff could not produce another one. Continental breakfast was poor quality. Bathroom amenities were inadequate; one shampoo and one bar of soap for two guests. Tissue quality was poor.

Don't stay

Posted 16-Nov-2015
stay room was booked as a suite, pet friendly, refrigerator and smoking...NONE OF THESE THINGS WERE THERE! Heather at the front desk was less then nice or helpful actually very rude and condescending... Breakfast was empty by 9:15 and the juice machines were out of order...THE ONLY THING NICE I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT BRITTNANY THE MORNING FRONT DESK CLERK WAS VERY NICE AND THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN....

It had a smell and the room was a little small. However for the price it was not to bad.

Better than I would have thought it would be

Posted 08-Nov-2015
Pros: Very very clean
Cons: Lobby area
Location: Dunno
Room was very small, but extremely clean. Lobby needs work -- they leave door open to laundry room and it is the first thing you see when entering. Chairs stacked on top of breakfast tables like a high school cafeteria. Check in person did not acknowledge us while she checked on something for the manager who was on his way out the door. Bare bones experience but really excellent room that was super clean. Breakfast was just okay. Great value -- room was cheap.

Needed to rest between visits & activities with friends - Microtel was great! I left thinking "from now on, I'm looking for Microtels where ever I go for the rest of my life!".

OK for cheap overnight. Clean, Quiet, Safe

Posted 25-Oct-2015
Pros: clean, quiet, cheap
Cons: Working lights in room, especially since rooms are poorly lit to begin with and the light over the bed in my room didn't work properly.
Location: off I-85 near Hillsborough. Not there long enough to do anything. Hillsborough a charming, historic town.
Hotel in good location and is clean, quiet, and appears safe. Room was very small and very dark. They should repaint the rooms in a brighter, lighter color. Brown and navy blue blue paint a bad choice. Poorly lit. Light over bed wouldn't come on. Breakfast bar just OK. But one has to remember this is a cheap room so good value for the price.

Stay here for 2 nights. We were surprised that for 65 a night you can get a decent hotel for sleeping. The room was clean and they even have free wifi . There are several fast food restranaunts nearby, but no decent place for dining though.
