Perfectly adequate for a short stay

Posted 15-Oct-2017
Pros: Set in pleasant wooded gardens, the location is surprisingly quiet with a rural feel
Cons: In room 12: replace bath with shower tray, and reduce the size of the dressing table. Both measures should make the room feel more spacious.
Location: It is readily accessible from the motorway network, is easy to find and is convenient for town centre and public transport.
We stayed in a 'standard' room for two nights. It was clean and well presented, but 'cosy', verging on cramped. The bathroom was similarly clean and all of the fittings worked well, but definitely cramped. Breakfast (full English) was very good, with generous portions, served in an impressively decorated dining room. The few staff that we came into contact with, were polite, friendly and smartly dressed. Being in Ruislip to attend a wedding, we spent very little time at the hotel and found the accommodation suited our needs.

I would recommend it to a friend but would be honest that what you get for the money is not worth it

Pros: Good character. Quite quirky. Comfy bed. Lovely shower. Safe entrance .
Cons: The hotel sofas need upgrading. The entrance to our set of rooms is dated.
Location: Handy for the station.
Very handy as this hotel is beside the station, we were collecting friends from there.. Some staff could be friendlier, Good breakfast.

Old converted barn

Room was small up a flight of narrow stairs. "Mind your head" signs on stairs, door to room and door to bathroom. Mattress soft.

Small but clean

Posted 17-Jul-2017 on Hotels
The hotel was very nice, with lots of character. The room was small with a dressing table next to the bathroom door, so that if one person is sitting at the dressing table and the other in the bathroom, it caused a problem. A hook in the bathroom would be useful for hanging a dressing gown on. The room was very clean.
