This is a FANTASTIC HOTEL! The employees are friendly and the place is like stepping back into old Cuba. The auditorium next door always has something wonderful going on. Or one of our favorites is going to the rooftop seating and watching old cartoons on the wall. It’s on the tail of the river walk and close to the downtown area with a nice little in and out without the downtown traffic once you get familiar with the area. We love staying in different rooms each time and we’ve stayed in four different beautiful rooms. I Highly recommend for a wonderful experience and I didn’t even mention the 5 Star Restaurant Ocho. I had a phenomenal stay at the St. Anthony. After being booking at a different hotel that I did not feel comfortable at, the St.Anthony got me in INCREDIBLY last minute (like 2 am!) I received amazing service, friendly and very accommodating! I will recommend this hotel to everyone and if I’m ever back in San Antonio I know exactly where I’ll be staying

The view and resort are beautiful but if you're not there for golf or an event, after a day of the view, there isn't much to do except lay by the pool. Pool is nice, well maintained w/ choices of areas for kids and adult only and the main combined pool. The pool water was perfect, not too cold nor too warm. They "upgraded" our room to a King w/ pullout queen in order to be close to the second room we got for family. The pullout queen is a sofa bed, it was horrible! Thin mattress and you could feel the steel coils under it and it sloped backward, so your feet were higher than your head and it squeaked when you moved! For such a nice resort, this pullout was not acceptable. My little one didn't mind and thought it was funny, so we didn't complain. If we didn't have to be close to the other room we got for family, I would've rather had a double queen room. The restaurant food at Sweetfire Kitchen was super slow service, waited about an hour for our food, BUT...it was really really good! We all enjoyed our choices from the steak to salmon to chicken and the sides , all were really good! There are many restaurants in the surrounding shopping centers that are not far and many choices too if you don't want to dine in resort. The resort has EV charging but I believe you have to pay valet and then pay to use charger. We just went to nearby Tesla supercharger station at the shopping center.
