Hi Erin it's good to know there were many things you enjoyed about staying with us at Gatwick. We know not everyone loves the wet room which combines the shower facilities with the toilet and basin as it all gets wet during a shower. The shower is powerful and refreshing though and should be fantastic. A used towel on the floor stops you getting wet feet before it's dried naturally. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the poor lighting in your room. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we'll look into ways to improve the lighting to ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests in the future. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Hi Dale, thanks for acknowledging those things you liked about Bloc as well as those you didn't. We've tried so hard to make sure our rooms are accurately represented across all our booking platforms, photos taken on-site, room descriptions and floor space measurements. It's disappointing when guests book a windowless Sleep room and then don't and then find it doesn't meet their expectations. Compact, quiet and convenient all describe our most budget-friendly Sleep and Vista rooms. We've got several different room types right through from our most compact Sleep and Vista rooms, up to our luxury Runway Suite. All the rooms are shown clearly on all our booking platforms. If you felt the room you chose this time could be more spacious, try booking one of our larger rooms next time. I'm sure we've got something to suit you. Hi Mike, thank you for your feedback. Our Sleep rooms are compact and the wet room is a combined loo, basin and shower and does get wet during a shower. There's loo roll in a perspex box to keep it dry so you should have been able to use this. Whilst the Sleep and Vista rooms have beds that are against the wall on all three sides, the VIP rooms and the Runway Suite both have different layouts.Take a look online at the photos showing the rooms and see what you think, I'm sure there'll be something there to suit you. Hi Patrick, I'm sorry your stay at Bloc wasn't as enjoyable as we would have wanted. I can see you chose to book a Sleep room, these are windowless and compact. We've got several other more spacious room types, the Aspire and VIP rooms for example, which would all have more space for you and your belongings. It's good to know the location and staff made a positive impact on you. I'm sure if you booked well in advance you'd find a larger room at a better price.
