"This property was in need of updating. The rings had detached from the curtains, making them difficult to close. The tv was outdated. The frying pan had a very loose handle. The shower lacked power and the hot water only seemed to come on at around 8am, no good if you like to shower earlier. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were very cheap and bumpy."

"Lovely clean spacious room in beautiful setting. Please note kids under 14 can't go in pool alone even if parents sat on the side (8 and 11 year old wanting to go in more than i wanted to join them) parents are literally within touching distance on the side so this felt a little over cautious. Great there is an ev charger but struggled to use as often busy so would be great if there could be a couple more. Would def stay again, lovely spot "

"Lovely welcome from lady on Reception. A beautiful Victorian building - stunning entrance hall and corridors to rooms. My room, though, could have been cleaner. Comfy bed. I slept well despite a noisy group of people with no etiquette regarding staying in an hotel. The grounds are stunning - you really are in the midst of nature."

"Very easy to find just off the M6. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food served in the bar/restaurant. Comfy bed and good size bathroom. "

"The hotel is very tired looking. Breakfast was poor and needs more organising; bread not filled, no glasses available, food not available although 30 mins till breakfast ended. Gym facilities and pool was good as well as the bar and its menu. Overall a nice located hotel but needs some updating."

"Continental breakfast is acceptable and all sraff were good, approachable.There was good spacious parking facilities. The restaurant and bar is very good . There was some play area for kids near the parking."
