"The house was in general, beautiful. There are a lot of stairs which are accurately shown in the photos. It was overall clean with the exception of noticeable stains in two of the bedrooms that could use a good cleaning. My kids loved having a fire at night in the fire pit and they absolutely loved looking for fish over the dock! It’s a great location!We were happy with the home overall but there are a few areas that could be improved upon:1). The title of the listing should remove ‘hot tub’ until the hot tub is replaced and open for guest use. While it says the hot tub can’t be used at this time in the body of the property description, most people will look at the title and assume it can be used. 2). The ‘beach’ could use updating and doesn’t really look like the photo that is shown. 3). The listing implies a pontoon rental is possible through the listing. However, when we inquired, we were given the name of a boat rental company that no longer offers rentals. With that said, Avantstay was extremely responsive and were great hosts. "

"Clean room quiet, lots of towels and hot water. Small breakfast good coffee. We will stay there agian when we visit Hickory."

The most beautiful view of the lake and with a dock located on the main channel. Plenty of amenities you such as kayaks and fishing are available. Spotless and cozy room with everything you need. "Pictures are a bit misleading. The lake view rooms actually look across at houses and a sliver of lake. Rooms are very small. Think Microtel Inn if you've ever stayed at one. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms on the lake side where you can listen to the country music from the reataurant below."

"The house is clean, kitchen fully equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of room, and activities for everyone. The sunrise over the lake is wonderful. "
