"We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay."

"A good 'compact' accommodation for one or two people. The kitchen was a little tight for space but well-equipped. It was snug and warm for a late September break.The location was ideal for visiting Hexham and Northumbria generally - which was the purpose of our holiday. The only slight negative was the road noise from the (few) vehicles using the B-road right outside the kitchen window. If we were staying in the area again, we would certainly consider GinGang again. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with advice about local amenities.Excellent value for money for the week's stay."

"Wonderful stay at Low West. Cottage was perfect, everything you could need was provided. The coal fire was a treat, we stayed in November and it was cold. Cottage is up a lane all by itself , so peaceful yet only half an hour walk into Hexham. Owners were very friendly, I would stay again"

"The Lodge was very clean and comfortable. It was out of Hexham but only a short drive away. The views were spectacular, as it wasn't a race day, it was very quiet. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but the pans seemed old and badly scratched, there were no scissors or fish slice. Both of which I provided. The larger shower room needs a rubber mat in the shower, the base is very smooth and slippery when wet.On the whole we enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. Good value for money."
