Pros: Staff were great.
Cons: cleanliness rooms need updating, bathrooms need refurb.
Location: Good location not familiar with the area, but was close to watford general hospital which is what I needed.
Dirty room, carpets stained badly, walls marked, bathroom dirty, toilet stinking looks like it had never been cleaned, grout and tiles black and generally dirty In need of a good bleach and scrub, plug fitting in bath rusty and broke, bath not draining blocked, cracked tiles. Really disappointed with hotel considering It is supposed o be 4*, more like a 2* No excuse for cleanliness ???? On the up side staff were more than helpful. Thank you Raj on reception.

Ok hotel

Posted 24-Nov-2016
If you want a cheap hotel this is a good place to go though the £11 breakfast is a bit steep. My only real negatives about my stay was the mattress was terrible like the worst ive ever slept on woke up with a back ache. The shower was also very noisey sounded like a plane taking off. Other than that cant complain decent stay.

Clean and Friendly

Overall this hotel is very clean, great helpful staff, facilities including swimming pool and gym... We were upgraded to the Priviledge Rooms - They are more cosy but showers are small.

Hotel is tired and in need of makeover. Noisy at night. Paper thin walls and the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever experienced.

Good but not 4*

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Pros: The staff were friendly
Cons: There was a lot of noise from outside, we could here people talking. Definitely need to work on either sound proofing or triple glazing windows.
Me and the Mrs spent 2 nights at this hotel. Overall it was a nice hotel but I would say it's not quite a 4* hotel. A lot of noise from outside which we heard from the room so need to sound proof I think.

Needed a good clean

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Pros: Car parking and ease from M1. I did not like the hotel. Appeared to be used by people in high viz jackets and working clothes.
Cons: Room required dusting, soiled sheets. Hotel staff that at least looked at you when you spoke. English not their first language made it difficult, however they did not looking at you when talking. Even when I said I can not hear what you are saying. Breakfast trays in the corridor, Even at 21:30 at night. During the day breakfast trays were joined by beer glasses. Appeared to lack service management. I was overwhelmed on the last morning as a member of staff said good morning to me. This was a shock, as someone had paid attention to me. Staff could talk, as I witnessed this when they chattered to each other. And they can use phones!
Location: Chinese restaurant, less that 10 min walk. Very friendly and very good food.

Good hotel but corridors are like a maze!

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Cons: The hotel is like a maze. In most hotels if your room number starts with the digit 3 then you are on the 3rd floor but in this hotel I needed to go u
Cannot fault the room. Clean, comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities.
