Ok for what we needed

Posted 01-Sep-2016
The hotel & room were fine, the location isn't the greatest but as we wanted to be close to the bus station it was perfectly located for that. The room was very hot & the air conditioning was too noisy to leave on at bed time. There was a constant banging outside the window that kept me awake a good part of the night.

Great for visiting Harry Potter at WB Studios

Posted 27-Aug-2016
Great overall. We had a room away from the railway tracks so it was quiet. Somewhat difficult access for car/cab/uber drivers to find and get to but otherwise we were well cared for and even given late checkout to 2 pm so we could conclude our HP visit before leaving the hotel. 36 Pounds for uber ride to hotel directly from Heathrow.

Perfect for HP Studio Tour!!

Posted 18-Aug-2016
This was a great hotel, very clean, very comfortable with nice staff helping with everything! It was a wonderful location for the HP studio tour (why we picked this hotel in the first place) as Watford Junction is less than a 5 minute walk away. Definitely would stay again!

Good hotel with convenient location

Posted 14-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything!!
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Train station close by - perfect as a base to travel in to London. Good for travel to Harry Potter studios. Watford town centre is in walking distance
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We were greeted by friendly staff at reception and given the permit for parking - we managed to park at the rear of the hotel but spaces are limited. All areas of the hotel were very clean and in good condition. Our room was clean and very spacious - there were four of us (two adults and two teenagers) sharing a room and we weren't cramped at all. There were plenty of towels, tea and coffee facilities, shower gel and handwash in the bathroom, tv - everything you could wish for - it even had air conditioning. The room was cleaned each day and new towels provided - even though we hadn't requested it. There was some noise from the train station but that is only to be expected as it is literally only a couple of minutes away - this didn't bother us and the fact the station was so close was brilliant as we travelled to London each day. Breakfast was self-service buffet which was lovely - choice of cereals, toast, baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs, croissants, Danish pastry, fruit, yogurts and a choice of hot drinks and juices - if you couldn't find something there that you'd like you must be extremely fussy!! Having read some of the other reviews of this hotel I was a bit worried about what it would be like but I must say we were all delighted with it and would definitely return for another stay.

it was okay, would not recommend the breakfast. close to shops and takeaways.

Close to Train station

Regular power cuts, very limited parking and noise from the rail line. Convenient for the train and that's about it.

Pros: The staff were all lovely and very very helpful, it seemed no request too much.
Location: Harry Potter bus a 2 minute walk away, London Euston 18 mins on Midland Trains ( busy but fine)
Found hotel easily as soon as we left Watford Junction Station. First impressions were excellent and the staff on duty when we arrived at about 9.15 were lovely and helpful and check in was quick and easy. The room was very nice and looked as if it had recenlty been painted, very smart and clean. Sadly it was overlooking the railway station ( room 414) which I found noisy ( my son and mother did not). Just before having breakfast I asked the reception staff if it was possible to move - yip another customer service WIN we moved to another room by midday (511) and it was perfectly quiet. Breakfast was amazing (my 10 year olds words) and did the job perfectly well. All of staff lovely and if I was visiting Harry Potter again I would book this hotel. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

Lovely stay and service. Would stay again if in area. Seems a bit pricey for what you get but as a one night stay after visiting the Warner brothers studio tour it was good.
