Easy and clean

Posted 25-Apr-2017
We stayed when we visited the Harry Potter studios. There is a carpark nearby. A shuttle bus runs every 15mins to the studios. Our room was ready early and was lovely and clean. Breakfast was fab!

Holiday inn watford junction

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Pros: Clean. Handy for trains. Tea and coffee in room.
Cons: Bigger area for breakfast food,
Location: Right next to station so .ca get into London with ease. Loads of really decent places to eat in watford.
Trainee staff couldn't find my booking at arrival which was worrying. Sorted after 5 mins. Room fine. Breakfast was self service and there were too many people for the space where food was and too long in queue. Small car park but got a space.

Very well located hotel

Posted 14-Mar-2017
Pros: Hotel Staff service and support.
Cons: Second bed (sofa). Was not that great.
Location: Great location, walkable distance from train station. At least one pub around, the bus stop for the shuttle to Harry Potter WB studio tour is very nea
Very close to Watford Junction station. Hotel Staff was awesome, always willing to serve. The sofa I used as the second bed was not that comfortable but we made it. I would be there again if needed. Absolutely.

Good quality, reasonably priced hotel

Posted 06-Feb-2017
Pros: Very close to Watford Junction station and the bus to the Harry Potter sudio tour.
Cons: Larger beds and better quality orange juice and coffee for breakfast.
Location: Harry Potter studio tour.
We were three couples staying the night before visiting the Harry Potter studio tour. I chose the hotel due to it's proximity to both Watford Junction station and the bus stop for the studio tour and the reasonable price. The welcome from the staff was excellent and they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were of a good size and very clean. Unfortunately, we found the beds very small ( I guess they must be a small double?) and the room uncomfortably hot over night. There is an air con unit but we chose not to put ot on due to the noise of the fan. Breakfast was included in the room rate and there was the usual selection of cereals, bread and hot food with enough variety to cater for us all. You can walk to Watford High street in 10-15 minutes and a taxi takes 5 minutes and cost us about £10. It's a basic hotel but I would use again if going on the studio tour.

STAYED OVER NIGHT

Posted 27-Jan-2017
Pros: FREINDLY STAFF,CLEAN AND TIDY
Cons: ONLY THING I WOULD IMPROVE IS MORE PARKING SPACES
Location: GREAT FOR HARRY POTTER JUST 2MINS DOWN THE ROAD, 8MINS TO TOWN IF YOU DONT MIND WALKING.. PLENTY OF PLACES TO EAT OUT
We stayed overnight from taking my daughter and her friend to Harry Potter World as it was a birthday treat. We arrived early, weren't meant to check in til 3pm room was ready which was a bonus.Room was great, clean tidy girls loved it.Only thing i was worried about was being right at the back of Watford Junction turns out never heard a thing had a great night sleep .What more do you want for one night ! ,. would defantly come again.

Holiday Inn Watford Junction

Posted 22-Jan-2017
Hotel is convenient to Watford Junction, Harry Potter, Vicareage Rd etc. The area around the hotel is not exactly inspiring but hotel windows kept noise out. Breakfast was OK so basics of the hotel all fine, it was a convenient stopover and as at a good price it was OK.

Convenient and clean but tucked away

Posted 10-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Perfect for visiting Harry Potter Tour and train links into London. Rooms were clean and in good condition. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable, but it was only 1 night so we put up with it. The hot breakfast is great if you want sausages and beans, there was nothing else available. No eggs, no bacon, no tomatoes etc. There is s good choice of cereals, croissants and fruit though. The entrance is very dimly lit and coming back from London after the theatre, it is unnerving as we were myself and my 2 daughters walking quiet poorly lit streets.
