Nice hotel let down by a soul-less bar restaurant
Its a Hilton, so its going to be a nice hotel with decent facilities. goes without saying. There's a new gym apparently.
However where it misses the boat totally is in the bar and restaurant area where us travelling folk like to spend our business expenses.
Its got BT Sports on, which is a real bonus however its large TV is right next to the restaurant so you can't really have the sound on. Not as though you could hear it over the mood killing panpipe elevator drone coming out of the speakers.
Speaking of restaurant, its the same menu as the bar which is a bit pointless.
With a bit of thought, change of layout and investment you could do wonders in there and make it the place to be like other chain's have done and most importantly, give it some atmosphere. It was like a funeral home in their on a Thursday evening!
Breakfast was nice...
